Bambu A1 vs P1P - Are These The Same 3D Printer?

My friend keeps saying the a1 is the same as the x1c

in my opinion A1 for kids P1P for adults ;)

Which one is quieter under same acceleration / speed ? (After p1s / p1p sw upgrade! And door closed on p1s)

I have all the models except the P1P, and Mini. I love them all. Only thing I would change is the color schemes between X1C and P1S because I love the color of the P1S but love everything in the X1C

I suppose this is trivial, but listening to multiple Bambu Labs videos today I keep hearing the same reference to “acceleration”. FWIW, mm/sec is a measure of velocity (or speed), not acceleration.

my a1 mini only has a 80 bed?

I want to replace ender 3 v2 with bambulab a1, I want to upgrade my tool because I need to print for example from asa,abs,pla-cf. etc. Will prints from these materials come out with bambulab quality? Bambulab officially does not recommend enclosing printers due to some problems with layers, but is this reflected in reality? it is possible to print quietly from these more demanding materials like the ones I listed above?

I think the A1 did the better job. First of all it ran 100 hours plus. And the p1p was it's first print. And the p1p had alittle of string

For me, the P1S is where it’s at. It’s basically a P1P that’s fully enclosed, for much less than buying a P1P plus enclosure. I’m an original X1C Combo Kickstarter owner, and was considering adding an A1, but I finally decided that I didn’t want to go back to a bed slinger and I didn’t like the AMS Lite issues. That lead me to the P1P, but the P1S Combo was the best deal when also wanting AMS.

I have a younger sibling at home, so I’m not sure if I should get a machine that’s quieter/a1 or enclosed/p1s so he can’t touch it and no spills. The a1 has a touchscreen, while the p1s is more faster while being more rigid. Which one should I get?

From here it looks like the print quality on the P1P is better. I'm looking for my second Bambu Lab and was leaning toward the A1 until this video. Now I'm thinking P1P or save a little more and get the P1S.

i have a question that you may be able to answer. so i made a dedicated 3d print room and i added a 6" inline fan to the wall pulling the smell outside of the room and i bought this Husky 4 Tier Garage Storage Shelving Unit to put a couple A1 with ams lite. i plan on enclosing all around and the bottom of the top shelf so as if it had an enclosure and i wanted to do this to not get Breeze drafts and i would prob enclose the top part when printing cf and more abrasive materials that you can do with the p1s since it has an enclosure. i figured if i create this enclosure on the top rack for the a1s i can print the same materials the p1s can print since the a1 has hardened gears and nozzle you can add. Does this seem about right? being able to print the same type of filament as the p1s and having that enclosure to not get breeze draft from the inline fan pulling out too much air/smell from the room? the room itself has a vent that will open up if it has negative pressure so that humidity is not a problem. the room next to it has a ac running with cool air. Am i onto something or will i mess anything up like humidity issues inside the enclosure i make by doing that enclosure to the top shelving section of the rack?

Wonderful review but I am considering one of these for my 13 year old daughter. This will be her first experience with a 3d printer which if the two would you suggest for a beginner?

Just found your channel and one of your videos introduced me to the Qidi Tech X-Plus 3 printer. But going though your video list, im not seeing hardly any videos on it and many videos focusing on Bambu printers. Is that mainly because they can print in multi-color and the Qidi one cannot? If not, what is the reason?

So happy with my A1, what a leap forward it was compared to my Ender 3. On one hand while I appreciate the skills I learned having to troubleshoot and upgrade my Ender, If the 3D printer market ever wants to gain further adoption from new users we need more printers like this that lower the barrier of entry.

You might be the first one that explains that the p1p can be controlled solely from the app and that the old screen is not a deal breaker .

I have a couple of the bamboo printers and the A1 is my least favorite. It is definitely one I won't buy again. I have the first one not the one he's showcasing and I hate it. It sits on the floor. I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. I try to do a return and get the money back to get a p1p or p1s and it never happened

Just for fun I downloaded the elephant and sliced it for my Prusa MK3S+. Using the standard 0.2 layer height, it sliced out to well over 13 hours printing time. Sigh.

I would love to know the difference between p1p and p1s. I'm being told to get the p1s because it's better.

should have put the p1p at the same acceleration speed and reprinted it.. just to see if it matters. bed slinger vs head slinger. because now it's an unfair comparison.

Would be great to see a comparison of a taller print since the higher up it goes on a bedslinger usually increases the chance of various artifacts.
