But if a man just takes another wife it’s not adultary? Right? Bible doesn’t condemn bigamists. It allows polygamy also right?

That's why there's so many domestic killings. I died spiritually in my marriage. I literally lost all my memories before marriage and almost ended up in an institution. God would want me to stay bound to that marriage?

So if you marry a person who was unfaithful in there previous marriage , but ur not aware they did this you committed adultery... Wow so a person can decive you an you by association have sinned .. even if you were not aware of that.. this is confusing.. I get if a person cheats on you u can remarry or if you're spouse dies you can remarry but what if you have never been married an unknowingly marry a person who not only was previously married but there spouse is not dead and or they lie to you about being faithful ur at fault for marrying them .. can someone clarify. I don't understand how you can be guilty by association if you're unaware . If you know they were married before I can see that unless they were cheated . But if you not only don't know they were married before but also they were unfaithful an again u have no clue of there past ur still at fault.. please someone clarify

I have always suspected my wife was cheating on me. We have been married for 12 years now and its been a smooth ride until last year when she changed and started seeing other men. A friend of mine linked me up with a great hacker ultimate Hack who helped me hack into her phone, I had complete access to her phone right on my device and I could monitor all her activities for the past 2 years and also have access to new notifications, her location, call logs, text messages and all. I was left with no other choice.I loved my wife so much and I just dont know why she chose to betray me, I have been a good husband and never for once cheated on her. I tracked her down to a hotel where I found her with another man . You can contact them at ultimatehack003 at gmail or Whatsapp +17202954268 or text and call them directly on the same number. They helped me get access into her phone without even touching her phone.I have enough evidence against my wife now and I am thinking of Filing for divorce. I want advice from men and other women on here, should I give her another chance because of our kids or file for divorce ?

Married people cannot fornicate. Matthew is a chapter that Jesus is speaking to Jews regarding their custom during the engagement period. If that man found out his wife is not a virgin or she cheated during that period he is allowed to put her way. Fornication relate to before a covenant and consummations and adultery is after.

Point of correction. A woman is supposed to get married as a virgin. Fornication is sex before marriage. Adultery is sex with a person after marriage who is not your spouse.
The only exception is on the case of fornication ie a case when you thought a woman was a virgin - get married to her and realise she is not a virgin. That was rare before but today hardly will you see a woman who gets married a virgin.
Women God expects you to get married as a virgin.

two exceptions....then Matthew got it wrong.....except.....one reason, and by the way....sex, out of the marriage covenant is not fornication, it is adultery.....and the second issue is bondage....this is not akin to being bound.....meaning that one does not have to struggle to retain that covenant.....and if this were an.....exception.....would it not invalidate what had just been stated, on being bound......so the broken record.....misuse of terms means this invalidates this teaching....dont put your eternal soul to risk, on such a teaching....

What if you have not physically caught your spouse in adultery but it is pretty likely they have committed it because they have secret messaging accounts, and social media accounts, go out drinking to clubs (and lie about it) with non Christian friends, lie about the drinking (even though you’ve seen the receipts), are emotionally and verbally abusive, and you are being led to divorce them. Can God know they committed adultery (Matthew 5:27-28) and lead you out of the marriage?

Were the Patriarchs adulterers for having multiple wives and concubines and were those concubines fornicators?
Show us the verses.
Also, it never said that the man commits adultery against the woman by having another woman, anywhere. The sexes are not interchangeable like that. You are corrupting Scripture.

I am a person who loves knowledge and always seek to do that which pleases the lord but bible says we are to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling and study to show thyself approved RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH scripture says the woman was made for the man and not man for the woman so that's why the bible says the woman is bound to her husband as long as he liveth only if he is dead she is free... It never said the man is bound by the law to his wife... That's adding to scripture and that's a sin itself by wrongly dividing the word of truth..... Eve's desire was to her husband and he would rule over her.. So it is applied different... In the old testament men had more than one wife at the same time but a woman could only have one at a time and that's after each husband she had died and that was the only way.... The word must be carefuly studied so we don't miss understand or mislead ..... Shalom

Unfortunately this Pastor/teacher is convoluted in his thinking? Matthew was written primarily to Jews, who would have understood the Mosaic law of marriage. Matthew 5:32 & 19:9 give an allowance under the Jewish marriage betrothal to put away a betrothed spouse if they were found out to have committed fornication before the consummation of the marriage. Just as Joseph was going to put Mary away when he found out she was pregnant. (John 8:41). Romans 7:2-3 & 1st Corinthians 7:39 death and only death ends the marriage covenant. If a divorced person enters into another marriage while their covenant spouse is still alive it is adultery! Adulterers will not inherit the kingdom of heaven?

The Greek word that "fornication" is translated from in the KJV, is much better translated as "immorality" in almost every modern translation, including NKJV. "Fornication," by modern definition, is a mistranslation. Additionally, a married man biblically is not allowed to have biblical uncleanness (multiple partners) in his marriage (see Deuteronomy 24:1 to 4): "When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.
2 And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife.
3 And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife;
4 Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the Lord: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
5 When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife which he hath taken." NOTE THE WORD "ABOMINATION" in verse 4, "abomination" by definition,
is something that God hates in both the Old and New Testaments) like homosexuality and pedophilia).

Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines."

Interesting video, however the biblical definition of adultery was never discussed. Biblical adultery is not the same today’s adultery as outlined in the Oxford dictionary. You have to go to the Hebrew word na’aph. It translates to woman that breaks wedlock.

I refuse to divorce my wife unless she admits to cheating 2 to possibly 5 different partners (maybe even more), so I’m just gonna remain celibate till I die, cos she will never confess! She has begged forgiveness from God tho!!! So she tells me! Good Lord… I believe that she will not go to heaven, simply because she has not confessed to her spouse (me) and she has undoubtedly cheated on many occasions with multiple partners. I did ask her many difficult questions years ago, deny, deny, deny,,, under some pressure, which hurt me too, she turned to me with tears trickling down her cheeks (not flowing/streaming) “life isn’t worth living is it!” WTF, we have 4 beautiful children😢

Drives me nuts when I hear someone say that a single person that had an affair with a married person committed adultery. The married person committed adultery, but the single person committed the sin of fornication. Read Corinthians chapter 6, it makes it clear, all others sins a person commits are outside the body, butcyhe fornicator sins against his own body which was meant to be a temple ofcthe holy spirit. People concern themselves with how society sees it. But the single person is not engaged in adultery, its impossible, a married person commits adultery, period. It is the same as the single person having sex with a random single person. Most modern Christians have been convinced to think like secular agnostic and atheist people, that there's nothing wrong with sex before marriage. They are dead wrong. Read Corinthians chapter 6, or Ephesians chapter 5 for starters. I'm a 49 y.o. man that waited for the right woman (been told I was born 100 years too late), I've only met one other person in my life, a woman coworker, that genuinely admitted fornication is a very serious sin, God's inspired word condemns it very clearly, fornicators will not inherit the kingdom of God. This woman cried to me and said the stuff she did as a young woman, wish it hadn't happened and had waited instead. She's the only one. Everyone else says it's not realistic to wait til marriage today (or during the last 30 years). To me that's a cop out. I've wanted to eliminate some of of my bosses and coworkers, but I didn't rationalize it to myself that it's a different world we live in nowadays, and this would make me feel good
