While this has nothing to do with Miami, a couple months ago, my Mother and I were on a road trip in Tennessee. We stopped at a Chick-fil-A. I had went in to get her food. She wanted a normal chicken sandwich and water. As she was driving while eating, not even after the first two bites, I kid you not, she started throwing up. I felt so terrible for her and was helping her. For something to not agree so quickly like THAT, you know there had to be something dirty going on behind the scenes of the kitchen…

There is no way! There are so over managed and regulated by corp!! Rules are strict and heavily monitored and checked frequently! Lies!

I went to college on the Gulf coast & roaches, bugs, mosquitoes, roaches, frogs, lizards, roaches...did I mention THREE (count 'em-THREE) different sized roaches live down there. You have a typical German coach roach like you see in an insecticide commercial, then you have one about twice as big (he's usually black), THEN you have the godfather, prehistoric roach; the Palmetto bug! This sucker FLIES! Every apartment got sprayed by outside businesses about once a month. Regardless of how clean you are, you'll see them. Even if they come from the house, apartment or business next door!

It'll be messed up if Pizza Hut in Marianna FL gets a suprise visit b/c the minute I visited that restaurant there were live roaches running near their closed dinning area. I suspect with the stinch there are also sanitary issues so my family and I left asap.

There's a place on Clearwater Beach that I used to work next door too. I worked in a clothing store but he had a Taffy shop that sold hot dogs and sausage this man would literally thaw his sausages out on top of the AC outside I took pictures of it and sent it to the food inspector but nobody ever showed up and every day he was thawing meat on his AC

I used to work as a short order cook for officers in a jail. I used to get anxiety about the conditions there. I would clean so much in my short shift. 😩

My local Chik Fil A I worked at for over a year was the same way and was ran poorly multiple employees called corporate all the time but nothing was ever done because are store was a high volume location so chik fil a ignored it and continues to allow it to be trash

Chick-fil-A is expanding very fast and this is the likely result. The staff in the South are not delivering in the same manner you will find in CA. Orders get messed up and the staff are unprofessional. You could see them during working hours making drinks for themselves

I’m so thankful for this reporting. It makes me want to only cook at home and be very selective when I go out to eat. I get it’s hard to run a restaurant but it’s a slap in the face to people who work hard to pay eating out. If you don’t care about your customers then you deserve to be shut down. I worked for Chick-Fil-A for three years (No, I do not support the Cathy family's homophobic values, and I can also tell you many others I have worked with do not either). They greatly emphasize that we are to be stewards to all that is entrusted to us, and this CFA was obviously not doing that. I can almost guarantee you their franchise license was pulled. Both operators I worked for took their guest service and cleanliness seriously, and treated us pretty well as Team Members. I worked many opening and closing shifts, and our supervising managers made sure that our stores were cleaned from top to bottom each and every day.
