My ribs hurt just watching those 2 final right-left body-shots. Either one was enough to end it I think but that last left to the ribs .... OUCH! That ruins anyone's day.

Watched this live on tv, was a total mismatch. Froch beat some good fighters. But Mack was not one of them.

Froch was tough as nails and his punches were concussive.

People saying Calzaghe was too fast for Froch don't really understand Froch's technique. He boxed technically with a certain type of pressure that broke opponets' rythms and wore them down. Half his opponents he flat broke down systematically this way. He also had a brutally strong gas tank.

I think Calzaghe would have got the best of him but its important to remember calzaghe damaged his hands so never sat on his punches late career and Froch was a gritty fighter who'd take a punch to throw one. Thats rhe x factor in this fight. I'd still take Calzaghe on workrate maybe 60/40 in his favour but people flat out saying Calzaghe dismantles Froch really need to reasssess this theoretical fight.
