Tony, I am so sorry to hear about your neck. As much as I want new videos, I can wait. Your health is more important. Take care of yourself! I certainly will pray for you.
I do have a question, how big was the dent in the top of the truck from that hard head? 🤣🤣🤣
Take care of number one. You can't make everyone happy. I know what you are saying. My back looks like a 2 year old put a jig saw puzzle together. Best wishes from a fellow DAV in Maine.
ОтветитьI really hope your having your treatment though the VA they owe it to you been fighting over 8 years to get mt disability if you cant get in to see a VA doctor about this your primary can authorize you to be examined buy a local specialist contact a VA rep from any service club
ОтветитьPraying for y’all, I just went through surgery for the same thing pinched nerves and disc pushing on my spinal cord.
ОтветитьSo sorry to hear about your neck and the VA issues. Hoping for relief soon.
ОтветитьThat's some hard ass wood.
Wonder if setting the nail depth on your nailer would help...
Best wishes to you and yours and thank you for your service!
ОтветитьGet your body right brother; the sawmill isn't going anywhere. Warmer weather will help!
ОтветитьGood Evening Sir, Keep Up Your Full Recovery 🙏🙏😇Physiotherapy Is The Way To Go 🧐👌👍Thank You For Your Service and Be Well Sir Cheers 👍😇🍻
ОтветитьSometimes life just gets in the way. Prayers for you and Tonya. God bless so get well soon and we all will be patiently waiting for content when your able!
ОтветитьAdding you and your wife to my prayer list. I retired from the USAF after 24 years. 2.5 years ago, I had some service connected conditions that got worse. Fortunately, the VA hospital in Pittsburgh has taken great care of my issues. I think most men get grumpy when we dont feel well. Lol Enjoy your videos!
ОтветитьAwesome stuff, as always, guys. Having a bad back and neck sucks I have low back fusion done rods and all the hardware and have 4 disks in my neck that need surgery but i am holding on for as long as I can someday are ruff and stuck in bed. Atlest when it's snow I get out and make videos with the T224 and give me something to look forward to. Hopefully, you can get the help you need and get it resolved soon 🙏
ОтветитьTake care of yourself and let your body heal.
ОтветитьI have 5 ruptured discs in mid back, I know how your pain. I lift everything with the excavator now lol
ОтветитьIt's not just the military that takes their time. Be careful and get better.
ОтветитьHang in there. Prayers up!
ОтветитьTony get better buddy. 🙏I don't do well either when hurt or sick. Extra prayer for Tonya putting up with you. Have a good week.
ОтветитьI understand you right I'am suffering my nerves pinchs that goes to my legs it is not easy get well soon from 🇵🇷
ОтветитьTake your time and work at the pace you're comfortable with, Tony. 👍 Sending many prayers to you and Tanja both, 🙏 Thank you for sharing! God bless, my friend!
ОтветитьThought and prayers sent your way from Wheeler Farm. If you get in a tight spot and really need to get something done I’m sure we could pull together a crew to come up and help. Stay warm it’s gonna be cold this week.
ОтветитьPrayers for you and Tonya from our house to yours.
I think the term you were looking for is Purlin. Our Schnauzer is still still looking for gizmo over half way through the video but she is a fan. edit to add using seasoned oak for purlin I haven't done in years and drove that with the hammer not a nail gun, dipped in oil before hammering in helped a lot not sure if could do for nail gun.
Hang in there! I can identify. Now that I've gotten older, I finally did figure out what I want to be: younger. Blessings.
ОтветитьI know the feeling, 30 year military here and it's starting to catch up with me. Prayers brother!! Hope you get better very soon.
ОтветитьPrayers for you and your family. Don’t suffer. The surgery isn’t bad and you’ll feel great afterwards.
ОтветитьSorry to hear about your neck Tony. I will definitely be thinking about you in prayer. Hang in there, brother.👍🏻👍🏻
ОтветитьI'm sorry you're hurting. I know of what you speak. L4-L5 disk problems. Takes the stuffing right out of you. Thank god for good wives. Hope you get through it soon. Love the channel and all you and Tanya and the G-Dog do . Carry On! Gary
ОтветитьI know what you’re talking about, I’ve got a bad lower back and I had 5 vertebrae in my neck fused 2 yrs ago. The lower back pinches the sciatic nerve off from time to time making it difficult to walk. The 2 of you will be in my prayers, when I’m down it’s tough on my wife, say I’m grouchy also.
ОтветитьNeck and back pain is no joke! Presently dealing with sciatica. Absolute nuisance. Heating pad one day, cold compress the next and lot's of Aleve. I have the same working spirit you do. Need to get things done. We're building and moving to west TN and have a lot to do at our present home to be ready to sell in the near future. Going to be a big move and lot's of moving parts between MD and TN. Hopefully the VA won't screw around with you too much.
With common sense moving into the white house on Monday and the BS being put out to pasture, hopefully many govt entities along with the VA will have their fat trimmed and the over reach removed. Speedy recovery. Rest easy and take care brother.
I had L4-L5 problems for the last 15 years (now age 48). It would get aggravated and disable me for 3-4 weeks at a time and only would recover after steroids and muscle relaxers. Had a microdiscectomy to shave the disk about 7 years ago which worked to relieve the sciatica but would still come back yearly. Then in 2023 it went out again only nothing worked. I was in terrible pain from may until I saw a spinal surgeon. He said it was time for fusion. I was terrified of surgery and almost talked myself out of it a few times (some horror stories online) but decided to push through. Had the fusion in Feb 2024. Right out of surgery the pain was gone. I was able to walk up stairs in the hospital. Went home and started recovery. I work from home and was able to work the same day out of surgery. Was walking everyday. Only needed a pain killer for the first night or two just to help sleep. Just incision pain. When I walked I felt the best. The first two weeks you do have to take it easy on the bending and need a walker to support yourself getting out of bed and using the toilet. I dropped out of therapy early after around week 4. By the 3rd month they did an xray and released me for regular bending and lifting. By the 5th month I was riding my ATV again on several hour rides only now NO BACK PAIN afterwards. My sister had fusion in her neck and her's went great too. I missed out on many events because of back pain and at the end it was bad enough to be wondering if I wanted to continue life like that. I wish I had done the fusion years ago.
ОтветитьI have 3 compressed disks in my lower back and also 2 in my neck. Ran over with a tractor and hit a tree head on with a dirt bike. I totally understand. I hope and pray for you! Get well! I'm still going. Hang in there!
ОтветитьBummer Tony...
I have a Great friend here that has the hereditary back disease that His Family is going through
It is taking Him down, We used to do so much together out in the woods Camping, Fishing. Etc.
He is only 57...
God bless, Tony. I hope it clears up and you have healing 100%.
ОтветитьHang on in there mate hope you get well soon and thanks for sharing the video with us all God bless you all.
ОтветитьHang in there buddy. Us who are your age totally understand and get it. Like you said you're not yourself mentally when you're in pain. Praying for you my friend you feel better soon. Still grinding I see. Keep it up.
ОтветитьHope you feel better soon and get to a point where pain is gone. I served in the Army as well, know full well what you are talking about with the things we did in our young days.
ОтветитьOuch! Sorry to hear about your pain Tony. My mother had a similar issue with neck pain and did all the injections and finally had the surgery. They fused some vertebrae and she's doing much better now. It wasn't that bad of a recovery for her. Hope all is well with both of you!
Keep on tractoring!
Prayers for the both of you. I know that of which you speak. Between a shattered L4 (fixed now), a left shoulder bicep tenodesis, and a cervical fusion of C5-C7, it can absolutely be a challenge to do anything physically demanding. Here's to hoping things progress as rapidly as possible so you can get back on your feet.
ОтветитьI HAVE REALLY REALLY BAD ARTHRITIS IN MY NECK AND IT GIVES ME VERY VERY BAD HEADACHES AND SOME DAYS I CAN BARELY WALK OR STAND UP AND MY MEMORY IS REALLY BAD SOME DAYS.
ОтветитьSorry to hear your not feeling good having injuries suck keep your head up an we will be here when you're here.
Have a great day
Well , you probably voted for Trump so -1
ОтветитьHey brother, we'll keep you in our prayers. Hopefully we'll see you in February at Louisville.
ОтветитьDang Tony, hope some of the non-surgical stuff is successful. I’m with you on no drugs. I retired from the Air Force in 2012, and I don’t use the VA for any health care. I’ve got some service connected stuff so I might be forced to at some point, but I avoid that org as much as I can. Thanks to both of you for putting this one together.
ОтветитьSame thing happened to me brother. My driver hit a huge ditch in my HUMVEE and jammed me into the roof and bounced me around in the TC seat like a pinball. Army gave me 10% for ruining my neck, it ain't enough!
Ответитьtry DMSO on your neck
ОтветитьHow are you hanging in, bud? A simple offer. I've had basically the same injury and problem. In 2008, I have c567 replaced. Had the same symptoms and my spinal stenosis pinched off my spinal cord, had some partial paralysis, pain, nerve damage, and my cord was damaged. The surgery was incredible. I was walking the same night as the surgery, and I'm basically 100%. If you would like to talk about it, give me a call.
ОтветитьI might suggest trying a good Chiropractor and decompression therapy. I know it sounds like hocus pocus but it works. Look up Spinal decompression therapy. It can't hurt but it sure can help relieve some pain. Nothing worse than spinal pain, those that know, really know.
ОтветитьDo you go to a local V A clinic or hospital? If they do not have a neurologist, they are required to send you to a out of system. Neurologist I see a out of system dermatologist because we do not have one at our clinic. Keep pushing. my “” war injury in my foot is getting worse and worse. I’m 73 and I see people riding around in the grocery store on the electric cart and the handicap parking places outside and I think I’m seeing the future dead in the face. Getting old is not for the young
ОтветитьSorry to hear it man. Hope healing comes quickly and you’re back at full strength soon. Be well!
ОтветитьSo sorry to hear about your neck issues. Especially hard when you rely on your physical health on a daily basis. I'm in the same boat. Get well, Tony.
