Montana Book Festival 2023 - The Poetry of Parents, Their Children, and Vice Versa

Two poets, Philip Schaefer and Robert Schlegel, read poems from their collections centering on the topics of parents and children. Schaefer reads from Bad Summon, which won the Agha Shahid Ali Poetry Prize in 2017, followed by Schlegel, reading from his latest poetry collection, Childcare, in which he ponders his relationship to his upbringing and how that is reflected in the raising and care of his own children (2023).
