The hits just keep coming. Robert Morris scolding Driscoll’s victims and white washing his abuse, mishandling the scriptures and twisting the truth. So disappointing and so very very wrong.

Who would say? Now in June 2024, with the news about Morris (and Driscoll) ,it turned out both men to be more radioactive that a dirty bomb...

Ironic that Driscoll is supported by 2 fallen pastors Robert Morris and Brian Houston!

I am watching this after it was learned about the sexual allegations against Robert Morris.

Watching this just a week or so after Morris resigned for sexual abuse of a 12 year old girl. An offense he covered up for over 30 years and which should have immediately disqualified him from ministry.

Its important that Elders hold the pastors accountable. But I've noticed quite a few churches where the Elders insulate the pastors from any form of critique seeing it as an attack from the devil. But this is part of the problem because then the pastors think they're untouchable and they get arrogant and prideful which, as scripture says "pride goes a fall". For Mr. Driscoll to claim to be a victim is a classic narcissist trait

This idea that mark driscoll has a direct pipeline to Christ (and other spiritual leaders like him) and we can’t challenge that is biblical but not Christian. We see this notion talked about with pharaoh and Nebuchadnezzar and Caesar, they were “sons of God” by their tradition. If we follow our pastor like a son of God, we fall into a trap of worshipping them instead of God. I say this not to guilt but to caution elders that encourage this form of power in their churches.

Listening to this story ie the hatred directed at he and his family; my immediate response was- he's lying. Maybe I shouldn't make that judgement, but it came across as being fiction.
Honestly, this thing of restoring/restoration, from what to what. Maybe he's always been an actor.

Robert said that we should restore Mark with a spirit of gentleness, considering ourselves lest we're tempted. How do you do that with an extremely arrogant, violent, hostile, curse-laden, and gaslighting experts, with so many pastors across the country???

Well now we know Robert Morris has not repented. It makes me sick to see him talking. God is sifting this false mega church culture. We need to be the Ecclesia (army), not the corporation of a church.

Has anyone know Grace. Is she a victim or participant?

Watching mark Driscoll play the innocent victim is like watching Trump deny losing the 2020 election and protesting all his criminal cases. The same mentality is keeping these narcissists in positions of power.

God makes a way for restoration for all his children . I pray MARK DRISCOLL is being restored.

Maga churches are about, big personalities, big buildings and big money. I believe the bible warns us about false teachers and the root of all evil is the love of money. I have not been fooled by tv evangelist sense j and tammy Baker. I didn't believe bakers any more than i believe susan smith. Believer's pray for discernment and wisdom. The bible tells us to have nothing to do with evil, but flee from it.

God is good! I have a feeling Jimmy Evans and the Daystar drama are tied into this! Maybe that abuse will bring true restoration. I think the current shaking God is doing may humble him.

What an awful thing you have had to live through and be a part of, also. My ex was a Covert Narcissist and called himself a Christian and was very active in church and came home and was a monster. I get it more than most. And when I finally got the courage to go to our pastor, I got criticism and told I wasn’t submitting enough or any other number of things. So, basically I was blamed for his abuse by the patriarchy. And it continued for years.

Any time a pastor say God speaks to him through whispers in the dark, he is no longer accountable to God's word. This is how Driscoll can get away with it. Since Driscoll hears the audible voice of God, he is now above the hoypoloy, accountable to no one.

Robert Morris is a pedophile why would I listen to what he has to say about Mark Driscoll? Not trying to be unkind but this arrogance is destroying many churches in the body of Christ.

We all know if we are truly repentant of our sins, God forgives.

Some men and women are pastoring churches that were not called of God to do so. If not called and anointed by God to be a pastor, you need to step down.

I grieved for years because I never fit in! My books were in so many “camps” but they simply did not recognize the author. My husband said to me that maybe this was God’s plan. All this that I’m hearing now is heartbreaking 💔 😊

Robert Morris figuring he might get caught some day.... And because Driscoll is such a charismatic figure, he has now risen to full blown cult leader. I think his next fall will be far greater than his last.

Could it be the problem with Mark Driscoll like so many celeb styled leaders in the church is there’s too much of Mark Driscoll.

This why I don't go to church. Decades of this stuff and Christians never learn. They are surprised over and over again. Maybe they need to quit craving milk and grow up. Read the Bible and look at what we have created...No match.

The only person who wants to do whatever they want without accountability is a child. A narcissist is a child in an adult's body. Only a wolf would abandon his flock. The rate of narcissism among clergy are more than 400%-500% higher than in other professions, as cited by D C Robertsson in his book The First Will Be Last: A Biblical Perspective On Narcissism. Why? Because there is no higher authority than God when wanting power to control people.

We shoot at our wounded? That's rich coming from him.

Joe Shimmel led me to believe that Julie Roy’s wasn’t good. Until I recently discovered nothing could be further from the truth. Love her now and she is much appreciated for her work. ❤

Mark is such an unrepentant liar. He is not qualified to be a Christian leader or pastor. So sad and infuriating.

Such people may not be in ministry, biblically speaking. Nor is it possible for them to be restored to ministry. Scripture (Ezekiel 34) shows them to be God's enemies. Only after about 10 - 15 years, and much assessment regarding narcissism, could a person be restored to ministry. If they genuinely repent.

So sorry Sutton. You are beautiful. ❤️🇦🇺🇮🇱❤️
