New Button Arrangement, Alastor Still Presses In His Unique Way

Bird or warmth? Hard choice.

Totally out-of-the-box theory here: maybe it's a texture issue. Maybe he finds that the buttons are too slippery for his fluffy paws, considering the force needed to press them down. You could buy some velvet stickers to put on top of each button and see if its more comfortable for him. I found a bunch of options searching "Velvet Sticker Sheets" on Walmart, including 2 meter long rolls of adhesive "Sticky Back Self Adhesive Sheet Felt Velvet Velour Fabric" to cut your own shapes of velvet stickers out of.

If that little floofmeister was mine his precious little toes would never hit ground. I would carry His Meowjesty everywhere! And kiss him! And cuddle him! And kiss him MORE!

It looks like the buttons were at a angle, it looks like he could see them better and he was fast at pushing the outside button 😊 fresh air is like cat nip to him

With the best will in the world & nothing but love in my heart, I don't for a second believe that Alastor could catch a single bird. He's a very sweet handsome boy but a hunter he is not. He strikes me as the hunt drive but no prey drive type: if he managed to catch something he'd just stare at it like "What do I do now? Do you wanna be friends, I guess?"

His having fun watching birds has greater value to him than the discomfort of the cold.
