MY STEPHEN KING COLLECTION! (110+ BOOKS!)

I have the same edition of the Bachman books as you and the cover has fallen off, but I still have it, and the whole thing is being held together with a rubber band lol. It was handed down to me by my brother who bought it new.

I kept falling asleep during Revival because I was listening to it on the bus on my way to work, so to be fair, I probably need to read it again. Lol It is a pretty jarring book to suddenly wake up to though.

I'm an avid King fan, but only have one paperback of his. All the others (I lost count after the 20th one) are on kindle. I get why someone'd want to have a physical copy, but e-versions are simply more convenient for me since I don't have to carry the book around :)

That's awesome man! I have started to collect them hard core in the last few weeks and I've got so Many in eBay lots. I buy some new of course but to get older covers its almost impossible to buy them all new. I try to get them in at least good condition of course haha I have found out by doimg this, its very hard to find every old cover that was released. So many just my favorites will have every cover haha

I read pet sematary two times.
When i was 18-19 and when i was 27-28.
When i first read it i cried because of the friendship of louis with jud.
Second time i felt really sad because there was no hope in that book and dread and grief will torture you when you become older i guess?

I don't buy different editions and copies for me one is enough cause they cost alot and u should hve space to save them.

Great job with the video! Good luck with the collection! You asked how many do I own? I don't know. But I do have one of each. It helps that I've been buying them since 1991. I even have obscure ones like Nightmares in the Sky, Silver Bullet screenplay, Dark Man poem, Ghost Brothers of Darkland County, Secret Windows from BOMC, Charlie the Choo Choo, The Plant ebook series, and Hearts in Suspension.

I’m curious as to why the Anchor books editions cost so much. Is it because of international shipping? I know you’re not suppose to judge a book by its cover but I’m a sucker for that vintage stuff and look for the older editions when I thrift. I recently became inspired to start reading King (you’ll be happy to know I’m working on Firestarter) and when I went to check out what was at Target here in the US and saw only those Anchor covers I was annoyed 😂

This must have taken a lot of time and effort to collect. Awesome. I have about 25 of his books in my own library. I love the dual hardcovers of Desperation and The Regulators. I keep them displayed together to show their shared picture. I am happy to see that Desperation made it into your top 10. It was my first King read, and I love it. I am going to follow your example, and read all of his books too.

I currently own 109 King books, multiple in the mail coming. I already own all his novels, I am not a compulsive collector, I don’t need all of his short story collections n stuff. my main focus is all of his novels, everything that captures my eye. My last purchase was „Rita Hayworth and Shawshank redemption“ as a stand alone, little book with terrific cover art.

I am a decent book collector I own many series of great authors like king, Grisham and many more. But king will always be the one closest to my heart, his grasp on humanity and human emotions in the midst of crafting fascinating, rich worlds for his characters, is to me one big miracle. I just “love” this man 😅

And the only book in English that I have is The Body, which I haven't read yet, in the Scribner edition.

It’s so crazy that those Anchor books of Carrie, ‘Salem’s Lot and The Shining costed you a fortune. Those are the base level versions of those books here in the US. I think I paid, no joke, less than $30 USD for all three

The Halloween editions are the most expensive in the US. It’s such a bummer, that cover for Carrie is to die for, usually the covers are so unappealing
