The problem with Chrysler is one of habbit, they invest on overmaking crap instead of perfection. They have some of the best ideas, and engines, they lack structural reliability....

My wife and I have owned nothing but Mopars since 1986. Trucks, vans, SUVs and cars. In those 3 have been Chryslers. Our first was a PT Cruiser Limited. It was a great handling and trouble free car. Our favorite was a 2007 Aspen. Great looking, gorgeous interior and that HEMI! We just traded our Durango Alloy Edition for a 2023 300. Best riding car I’ve ever owned. I hope Mopar gets through this.

....so I own a 94 ZJ, and I'd love to stay loyal to the brand/auto group. But in reality, because a 300 doesn't come with a V8, mated to a manual, is the reason why I won't buy one.

I'm sorry Nolan, the PT Cruiser is an abomination that should never have been built. Incredibly ugly, cheaply manufactured, and terribly unreliable with one of the worst engines ever made. Yes Chrysler could benefit from a popular vehicle, but it needs to be a vehicle that leaves a legacy of something other than disgust and regret.

So basically Chrysler ain't staying for very long, they really think that ev is gonna save them? But im sorry America has no room rn for a complete shit box, super unreliable cheap plastic, when im inside of any Chrysler or dodge truck or even a jeep wrangler for god sake, you can feel that they only focused on just on the looks and nice interior. THATS IT. people keep making the same mistake buying these cars they don't last long and their resale value is ass. People need to wake up and understand Chrysler was ass back then and now, my parents always told in the 70s and 80s and 90s no one really bought one cuz they were known as the shit car.

EV’s just aren’t sustainable..our grid can’t handle it, we have limited ways to deal with the batteries when they go out, and harvesting the battery materials is often done with child labor..

That "infomercial" thing they made with the time machine and the Dodge boys was SO CRINGE inducing, that my buddy who was watching it with me turned inside out! ...and we still haven't been able to find him since.

No Chrysler s biggest problem is Stellantis its now a Euro Trash company. That also goes for Ram and Dodge too. I own a 2012 Dodge Challenger, 2014 Chrysler 300 and a Ram 1500. These runs great, but the Stellantis fools stopped making the sedans and took the Hemi out of the trucks. Our younger Y & Z generations loves weaker cars for the environmental stupidity.

Stellantis is nothing more than a thief and coward for not honoring the recall on the mopar 12300s limited edition 75th anniversary which has a 300c engine and is subject to motor damage from the mds system. I own one and had to pay for a new engine because stellantis refused to cover it.

If stellantis had any honor at all, they would honor the recall on the Mopar 12 300 S as well because it has the same problems and a new motor is over $10,000 best Atlantis does not care about their consumers

I really loved my 08 300! Was such a sweet and comfortable ride! But it’s a shame to see the once mighty company become a subsidiary, now granted that’s not always a bad thing for a company but I feel like it’s not getting the love and attention it might’ve kept as its own independent company.

i like big v8 grandpa cars ive owned 3 and driven 2 10th gen thunder bird, crown vic, chevy SS, now i own a 08 chrysler 300c hemi awd. like the 05-10 chrysler 300 cause of its retro styling. I actually prefer the 300 over the charger rts cause its nicer quieter and cruises better. if i were to ever consider buying another chrysler or american car it would need to be a big luxurious v8 sedan, coup or a muscle car. Big v8 sedans, coups, or muscle cars are the only reason i buy american. If i want a fuel sipping v6 or a i4 i go Japanese as their just better at making cars with those motors. For example my i4 14 mazda 6 is a great car but an american equivlent like the chevy cruize, malibu, dodgre dart, chrysler 200 is just terrible to drive. Not to say the didnt sell well a grand prix is considered a good car cause the 3800 and the iconic Pontiac styling but the interior the driving dynamics are awful. The GXP would blow its transmisson up cause it was to weak. Americas never been good at fwd eco cars except ford had and has some ok ones. Once japanese and german manufactuers start going all in on electric its over for american cars. Theyre good at making rwd v8 muscle cars and sedans(and of course mini van their minivans are actually ok) they should stick to it or they will die. No one is gonna buy an electric chrysler, dodge, ford, or chevy over a Japanese, german, or chinese equivalent. Just look at the new ev charger its a flop

Chrysler-EU fun fact:
There was a short period when we could by a Viper in Europe from Chrysler(!)
google: Was the Dodge Viper sold in Europe? --> European market: The SR l and SR II Viper were exported to Europe and sold as a Chrysler Viper. The ZB I Viper was sold in Europe during 2005–2006. It was the first model to be sold as a Dodge, as part of Chrysler's new sales strategy for the European market.

The 300/charger was such a great car. So easy to live with, everything makes sense, everything is where you want it, and they drive really nice. They're also relatively simple compared to a lot of modern vehicles. I guess that because they've been almost the same since like 2004 haha. But the late models definitely felt like a product that had been ironed out for years and years. Anyway, thinking an EV is going to save the company is not it. If this is their strategy, RIP chrysler.

I'm getting tired of these auto companies adding some "tech" bells and whisles that no one asked for on their cars and think that it will help them sell the car. Most of us do not give a crap about being able to video conference in a car. Most of us just want reliable cars that can get us from point A to B and it would be nice if it is fun to drive. Adding more screens and electronics is not going to accomplish this.
