Maybe it’s just me but I didn’t like how convoluted the plot was. Like yeah I get they wanted to include everyone but like that was not necessary at all and i am sure it would have been better to focus on one.

I haven't seen the DC version yet but I still enjoyed the story.

I like the idea of reexamining heroes in a world without powers just to see how the average person would act in these scenarios. I do think it a little cliche to have every reference on the dot, but I think it would be way cooler if the reference were more nuanced and the story is less about connecting to the marvel comic universe and more about watts patients and how his lack of knowledge on their daily lives lets him fill in the gaps imagining what if scenarios. Maybe have conflict where he bleeds from his imagination into the real life lives of the patients where he overextends.

I think this is extremely interesting. We know the characters. But not quite.

Mixed feelings about the Powerless comic, last time I read a grounded ver of the iconic characters was Spider-man: Noir although in that ver, peter still gets his powers from a radioactive spider, but his villains feel more grounded. If anyone can correct me since it's been quite awhile since I read the comics 😂.

Secret Wars must have been very hard on this world. One second everything normal, the next there's freaks with spandex and powers, killer robots, and even dinosaurs charging abut the place.

It's interesting to think there's a "Real" (aka powerless) version of the Marvel universe, because I think we are already the powerless version of a lot of fictional universes, like how Jeff Bezos is our Lex Luthor, Elon Musk is our Tony Stark, and some online influencers, like Haley Kalil is our Mary Jane Watson, and so on.
