The remote raid pass in the one coin box was one of the few reasons that I still even opened the game anymore. I am one of those people whose life situations insists that i stay home when I am not at work, I have an elderly mother that I have to take care of. So when Niantic nerfed the incense, I refused to spend ANY money on this game anymore, including for remote passes. Screw Niantic for taking away game accessibility for those of us that need it. It almost makes me want to spoof, at least I would still be able to play the only way that I can for now...from home.

People if you don’t buy the stuff when they increase the price they’ll get the hint that you’re pissed and eventually they will change it back.

This is gonna be hard for f2p and rural and semi rural players like me who don't have many pokestops and gyms

Yes it sucks everything is getting more expensive so sad even the food in grocery stores to high 😢i wished it hadn't go out on pokemon go but even the people who is working for pokemon go needs to get paid enough

Niantic needs an Employee that is going to thoroughly Review All Changes with the Community over a Month before their implementation.

They are a bunch of Frauds if they’re going to communicate poorly with the Community after they promised us that they would do better.

The 1 small plus side of this is that people will no longer feel like they're missing "good value" only buying the single pass option.

I agree completely they kill the want to play for rural players like me and others.

They changed all of the boxes, 975 coins for four items, they must think we're stupid. This game isnt worth playing. Played community day from 11 to 1400 no shinies, this game sucks _ _ _ _!

If all of the prices are going to increase in the shop, increase the amount of coins you get for leaving your character in gyms then, it only makes sense. But what do i know.

Pokemon go was a blast starting out in 2016, the very second $$ started being involved in the equation, that is when the game changed.

This game is getting ridiculous. Really agree with you. Made me not to play at all, not going outside to freaking play this game. i need to work, and they nerf incense, wow.

i stopped spending money on this game when the comdays got nerved in time lenght, and diverend hours when comdays started. seems like a good time to go all free2play for ever..

There is a Special box, in the store, that offers (1) premium battle pass and (2) remotes passes for 250 coins.

I think this is only the start. Give it a month or two and the remote will be gone. There just easing you off. Next will be reduced damage for remote raiders. 50% to 80 % less damage. Then remote raids will be gone.

Thanks for speaking up, ProPlanty! I just feel like Niantic is not hearing the concerns of the community. The bonuses that were introduced during the pandemic in POGO just made the game so much better on a whole other level.. Why not move forward with that rather than reverting to what POGO once was? I'm still curious to find out what Niantic has planned once the Alola Season is over.

It's ironic, I just started to get into raiding cause of remote raiding with my friends. It's now getting crap. There are so few people playing in my local area- the chances of meeting someone during a raid is so low. I'm never going to be able to get any decent raids from now on.

I am glad you mentioned EX raiding, because I miss doing those. Granted I could only attend one or two, but it was pretty fun. If they want people to interact: better comm day pokemon, focusing on connecting communities, better egg pools, buff incense again to covid rates. Also, instead of punishing remote raiders, just buff the in person raids (they have done this, by adding XLs and stuff, which is good, but they punished remote raiders in the process!).

The comm day event was 79p in my shop for both buying and gifting (I did neither, because I don't spend money on the game). Very strange they are punishing your regions with higher gifting prices. Very odd.

Am gonna say this again the fact that 5 years later we still need to wait 2 minutes to do a raid that probably is going to take less than 10 minutes tp complete saids everything you need to know about Niantic

My 5 cents about it:
1st question- would am the rest of the player base that are crying about it would preferred to have the passes but more expensive or not haven’t there at all!?
2nd Niantic had been very vocal about their intentions since summer of last year… Trainer Tips Nick had been the only one that pointed out that taking the Remote P was the best way to do so!
3er Nick (Trainer Tips) did a video showing the New Person in charge of communication between Niantic/player base! Not encouraging any communication if you ask me! Date/Date/Date with that video! Lol
4th Most Content Creators where very happy with the annulments made by Nianticfor events happening this Summer! Many which involve imperson ones… am you guys didn’t see this one coming!?!
5th that’s how things are going am will stay… when the do announcements for anything they do it knowing that they might have to change it at the end otherwise they do opposite… so announce/changes, No Annoying/No Changes we are keeping as we want! Lol

I considered the FREE remote pass as make up for the remote raids you join, and everyone jumps out and leaves you screwed.

Niantic is small indie company. They need the 50 coin increase to feed their families xD

This is a hard pill to swallow…. But PoGo is secondary for Niantic. Their AR tech is first and foremost. The only way to advance that tech is for people to go out and collect data for them. On top of that, they would rather have new players with new locations.
So I hate to say it, they really don’t care about the people that love the game. 😕

They desperately want us to go out so they can sell the data we produce. But, by the same token, they continue to try to force us to PvP which does not make you go out, in person, to beat on other players.

I dont think that they will ever get rid of remote raid passes as its all about money for niantic, even if they are saying they are doing things to bring the community together is just an excuse to make all of their crap more expensive and get more of our money, like IF they would actually want us to go out and raid so badly WHY not offer 3 green raid passes for 250 coins instead? like giving us a reason to buy those instead and take a walk to get to a raid.. just making the remote passes more expensive wont do sh*t. (also there are some regional pokemon, like the lake trio, which only will be available in other countries and also we need more options to finish the distance-trade badge than just 7km eggs and expensive traveling/flights, so remote passes kinda need to stay in the game anyways, and some of us want to do raids with friends abroad as well, unless niantic is even more dumb than we already think they are, THEN they may remove the remote passes at some point. losing money (LOTS of money..) and players.)
but at least buying 3 remote passes at once is still an option (even though more expensive) because some people just want an option to stack more than 3 of them ,like when you have 2 left in your storage and buy 3 more you can have 5 in your storage and then can attend the next 5 raid invites without worries that you wont make it to the raid because youre too slow in exchanging coins for passes first or something like that, though not sure how many people will still buy alot of them now, but some hardcore players and rich people will do it anyways (saw many japanese players that buy everything ,every clothing item, every pose, and raiding 100+ legendaries a day.. haha) because of them niantic can increase prices without worries, BrandonTan and the rich people will spend their money anyways, our poor-people-money doesnt matter much to niantic it seems, those are just peanuts ..I mean we will still buy stuff, but a little less, but the other people will make up for it probably.. who knows. (would really love to see the numbers/statistics for once..)
anyway, nearly every decision that niantic makes recently is just some kind of present for spoofers or giving us reasons to spoof, even on my friends list I see that alot of people suddenly spoof (I received quite some gifts from Okinawa, cant/couldnt even enter Japan at all...) and so many people have the shiny Okinawa Pikachu buddy now (yes could be traded like mine, but I also received the gifts, so...) and really, niantic is doing NOTHING against spoofers but giving them and everyone even more reason to spoof.
This whole game is just making me angry anymore. I will be level 50 soon and then ,after Go Fest in Berlin (my city), I will probably take a break or at least not spend a cent on the game anymore.

To get people back outside, maybe give us better wild spawns and a nest pool that doesn't suck. Anyone that is P2P for hardcore raiding, I find their dedication quite bizarre, giving Niantic money whilst they continue to disappoint.

I'm honestly seriously upset by this price change, I'm not very well off money wise and I try to put £8.99 a month into the game which use to get my 12 passes a month + 200 coins leftover to save up, now i get 12 passes for the exact £8.99 and I'm feeling punished for supporting them.... All I will say is they are no longer getting money out of me for Pokécoins.. not until they revert it. I will just save up coins from taking gyms daily and only raid when my favourite Pokémon are available. Back to getting the old phone swing out and to play the game like an egg hatching simulator.

they're going to raise the raid passes bundle to 300 they should raise the Pokémon storage and bag storage to 100 also. They want to round up the numbers then round that one up too because 200 coins for freaking 50 storage space only? BS!! It's already hard to earn coins and yet they raised the discounted bundle(which I can't ever earn enough coins for it so I use my MONEY to get passes all the time). SO, RAISE THE POKE STORAGE AND REG STORAGE TO 100 CAUSE 50 FOR 200 COINS IS A RIP OFF JUST LIKE THE RAID PASSES!!! PASS IT ON!!!
