Die Hard ND Fan here.... Just want to say to people who think this man left with disrespect, he in fact did not. People don't understand the limitations at ND. Lots of ND people are not huge fans of this man as a coach because of lack of championships. Anyone who thinks this man isn't an elite coach is naïve. He in fact was not given everything he wanted or needed to run his program just FYI. LSU will give him whatever he wants and needs to run his program. I'm not saying ND gave him nothing, but what I am saying is he didn't get it all. Running a powerhouse program with no limitations this man and his teams will be successful. He runs a tight ship and he is an excellent coach. Disappointed in ND and the Administration for dropping the ball. We were working on something great. Also why Fault Kelly lol? He now will make more than what he made at ND in 2 years and again get whatever he wants to run the program. Thanks for all the memories coach you got the program where it needs to be.

I’m a Notre Dame fan and couldn’t be happier to get rid of Kelly. Hope it works out for LSU, a program I’ve always liked, but I wouldn’t expect the world from this guy. He’s got real weaknesses.
