How the heck is petland allowed to stay in business? They need to be shut down permanently.

Maybe I’m being naïve. But I’m shocked that these places are not a legal how is that not happened already? Today I was walking to the grocery store and there was a Petland across the street. I was very sad to see more than 50 dogs cramed in small plastic cages most cages had three or four dogs in laying on top of each other.

i used to work at petland and let me tell you i couldn’t even last there a long time the things i saw were horrible and no one cares abt the dog. they only care abt the money they make

This is shitty, it made me disgusted. I honestly started balling my eyes out and even by the way they are carrying the poor things. this is so weird! i went to petland yesterday thinking it was a good store, but no it is not. I feel bad for those animals!

I live in chlllicothe, ohio. PETLAND'S HEADQUARTERS. where i live, so many people are still being fooled by this company. everyone acts like they don't have any problem that these pets are pretty much being exposed in those small ass compartments. people seem blind to the fact that there's 2 other places where you can get pets that are much better, and kids believe that this is how all people get pets

WTF… this is sickening. NEEDS TO STOP. I want all the puppies to have a safe and loving home but I don’t understand puppy mills. And the freezing part, first time hearing that.. that’s fucking disturbing and so sad. You sick piece of shits. I would sue all of you. Why are on earth would anyone do anything so cruel and scary. These videos are absolutely terrible I am an employee at a petland location and I can tell you that it depends on the location we try and take care of our animals but I can’t say the same for other locations

Guys. Y’all gotta stop making hate videos because you have nothing better to do. Yes we freeze the animals if they pass away so that their body doesn’t decompose. Then we take it to the vet when we have time. They also aren’t dying because of us their dying because they got a disease from whoever the breeder was. That’s all.

I go to one in Pennsylvania and each animal is all taken care of. Every pet I got there is healthy and great. I’ve been going there since I was born and these pet lands are gross.

Step 1: EVERYONE if you live in a town or city with a petland or petlands contact government officals in the area to investigate
Step 2: if they see something wrong they might close the stores
Step 3: CLOSE EVERY STORE IN THE U.S the USA is their main money gain so shutting down every us petland will make them eventually maybe go bankrupt and PETLAND GONE!!!

Have pet stores been doing puppy mills since pet stores open up in the pass? I don’t know, what year pet store open up for business . I’m just wondering. I remember going to the mall, with family. We’ll go to a pet store. Looked and played with the puppies. Never knew pet stores does puppy mills. When I was a kid. The pet store been closed down. The mall closed down. Only 2 departments stores are still there.
