GRDB JOINS LOCAL FOOD PRODUCERS IN UTILISING NEW TECHNOLOGY FOR PRODUCTION

The Guyana Rice Development Board (GRDB) is utilising modern and advanced technology for the cultivation of rice and production of value added products. During an interview with the News Room on Monday, Shanna Crawford, a representative, explained some of the new initiatives for rice cultivation that farmers can utilise. Meanwhile, the General Manager of the Hope Coconut Industries Ltd. Ricky Roopchand said the coconut industry is undergoing a massive expansion that will include several varieties from different countries being grown here.
