I looked at the reason why she may have been wingless. Google said "The main reason you'd find a bee with no wings is an RNA virus named Deformed Wing virus, often called DWV. Caused by the varroa mite, when the bee is developing.
Or something or someone pulled them off 😢. But as she was healthy otherwise, I don't think it was anything so traumatic & think mainly DWV.

Apologies if I missed this, but why did Ruby not have any wings? Was it natural or some evil person? She is so beautiful and love that your Kitty loved her too!!! :-) I am amazed at all creatures and truly feel we should be the caretakers of this planet and it’s beautiful creatures and plants.
