I love watching these as a kid I like the special effective of him having his feet attached to his head even though his body was under the grass they did a good job It wasn't too noticeable I can't believe he said the f word lol

I always talk about Super Dave Osborne and people who do not who he is, I always say, "Super Dave Osborne was the greatest Super Hero, Thrillseeker, Athlete of all time". BTW, he was on Johnny Carson once in a while, which was hilarious. Johnny would say, "We have a film to share". Super Dave wasn't happy and tried not show the video.

Pretty sure Super Dave was never broadcast over here in the UK so never knew anything about him back in the 70s and 80s. I've only just discovered him recently, searching the internet for more. This daft comedy is absolutely fantastic and surely would have been a hit in the UK too.

Bob Einstein got his start as the straight man to John Byner on the hit show "Bizarre". He'd always be out there reproving John whenever he fucked up, which was a lot. "Super Dave" evolved from there.
