Where the mags are concerned, me and a mate got one of these each and the mag that came with his worked fine but the one that came with mine and the 4 spares I bought were all backwards so I'm guessing it's a factory thing with the mags.

I got mine extended to 8" barrel setup, with a new M Lok handguard

was going to grab one of these and put a red/blue box in there that the MCXs come with but idk how i feel about the nylon shell.

That gearbox shares a lot of similarities with the sijun gearbox. It has the same blowback plate setup with a similar style of mag prime. You can get a sijun piston with metal rack that incorporates the blowback feature.

yesterday, my friend's Lehui MCX Gearbox shell just snapped in two.. never done any upgrades and only fired 2 packs of gel balls.. the shell breaks because of the blowback's stress, be careful for you who owned Lehui's product because their gearbox shell durability is very bad.. similar to the 2018 / 2019 jinming plastic gearbox's quality
