Waylon busted for drugs? 😂
ОтветитьThat Tele has some stories.
ОтветитьWow, he kept it all through the years.😊
ОтветитьThere needs to be movie on Waylon's life
ОтветитьI’d fly over to Scotland with it and have Knopfler sign his cigarette burn. That would probably be the only guitar in existence with those two signatures, and that’s a couple of heavyweight signatures.
ОтветитьDrugs may do things detrimental to your health, but a befuddled mind is not one. Song writers take things as they are and write a tune.
ОтветитьI just love how Billy Joe Shaver and Whacko from Waco keeps coming back around to Otis' interviews 🤣
Ответить"I'm not gonna give it to you, I gave it to you in there."
That's so great.
Awesome 👍🏻
ОтветитьHARDCORE , THE STORY ABOUT THE BUDDY HOLLY GIG , DAMN , SON. ! !! ! I mean I don't expect too much good news from stories from the biz but that is ICE COLD
ОтветитьI think to be true country singer you should have to play in shit bars for few years bar fights some time of hardcore addiction when the best songs are written
ОтветитьThanks for sharing this!
ОтветитьI loved Waylon this interview was awesome
ОтветитьReally liked this one Otis. Real nice.
ОтветитьBrilliant stuff yet again Otis.
Love your work.
Thanks for posting. Fantastic.
This is music conservation. Thank you, Ottis.
ОтветитьYeah Gary
ОтветитьWaylon has a reputation, but everything I've heard from people who knew him said he was a great, kind man. What a legend!
ОтветитьI'm liking these videos more and more. A real treasure trove. Thanks Otis.
ОтветитьI drove gary to a gig once and carried his gibson 335? in to the show with Delbert. Sweet guy and talented songwriter/ musician. Great interview Otis thanks for posting it
ОтветитьHoss I was just high and scared ...another one I'm keeping thanks
ОтветитьIt was the mid 70'S. My dad had season tickets for the Cleveland Browns. During the preseason, after the game, they would have a concert in order to sell tickets. His partners didn't want to see a preseason game so he'would take me,because he didn't want to waste a ticket . After one game, a flatbed pulled out onto the field, and Waylon and Willie played a show. I wasn't even 10, but i can say i saw them. Also, The Beach Boys played one time too
Ответитьotis, you're on a roll! ❤
ОтветитьHow awesome he had it signed 😎
ОтветитьTadeo Gomez is man who signed that old Tele, among the best made...such awesome stories of and by such awesome people. Thank you.
ОтветитьMan I enjoy all of your videos but I absolutely love anything about Waylon!!! I was fortunate enough to meet Waylon in Vegas in the 90s at the Rio Casino, the Highwaymen were playing, Waylon talked to me and my Wife for about 25 minutes, he was absolutely the nicest Man you could evva meet, it was definitely the highlight of my life ❤!!!
ОтветитьThank you Gary & Otis
Ответить🙏 peace and love
ОтветитьWaylon's Buckle Rash..lol ..another good one Otis
ОтветитьW0W!
ОтветитьGreat talk and insightful too
ОтветитьSaw Waylon at The Ryman after a Jerry Lee Lewis show. He and Jesse were getting in a limo and he was bigger than life! After we lost Waylon, they had a garage sale at his house in Brentwood. That's a once in a lifetime experience! Thanks Otis!
ОтветитьThanks, Otis and Gary. Beautiful story.
ОтветитьThat’s not a ‘56 with that black guard, unless it was changed. Early 1954 or before - $$$$
ОтветитьSo he still has the guitar?
I love Waylon
It was blow not pills
ОтветитьWhat a great interview with a stand-up guy! Really enjoyed his stories!!
ОтветитьThanks again Otis 😊
