In today’s market of fuel costs I definitely wouldn’t have taken a load for 730 going 680 miles.

Some areas are better than others but I just signed up for two carrier companies and they're telling me I'm not going to make no more than a thousand to 3,000 a week or more there are also saying no more than 75 cents to $1.20 to $1.50 no more no less definitely not $2.70 whoever's getting that is highly favored and highly blessed specialty for a cargo van for a sprinter van

I wonder what the guy was hauling. Is there a lot of business for people with sprinter vans doing cargo runs? I thought bigger semi-trucks would be able to out compete them by delivering in bulk. Is speed the main reason people hire van drivers/couriers? I have no experience in this industry and am very curious.

the move is $1.07 per mile. For a gas powered vehicle that gets 20 mpg or so, it is not so bad. I have been in transportation for a long time and if you do 2.60 per mile and above you are doing great

Got one coming up soon 360 mile trip. Pay out 720.00. Its rough tho to me that's good but alot of jobs paying under 1.00 mile is no good for me.

California’s gas prices are always high $4

The $730 Texas to Iowa is a bit low for an individual living in my area.
Assuming this is basically a 2 day job, if you include rest.

I own 2 laundromats in low income areas. I work about 25 hours a week and gross about 240K a year. whilst working with an advisor like Julianne Iwersen Niemann. I used to work in Sears repairs,, so I saved money by fixing my own machines. Believe it or not, the soap detergent vending machines bring in a good amount as well. Trust me starting and maintaining a profitable business starts with properly managing your finance.

Lost my beautiful Wife to cancer this year and I really need to make a change.
I’m not chasing Women and I shut down my 20 year mobile mechanic business down while I was taking care of my Wife full time.
The only thing I really don’t want to do is start my own business again and become a taxpaying slave to the government.
Are there decent paying courier jobs that you can just work for someone else or is it just so much more worth it going all in as a small business owner again?

I just got tired of all the tax burdens, data entry, quarterly and end of year hassle.

I have a buddy who is also a widower that is currently un employed by choice..
He also loves to travel and I bet he and I could actually team up and split the money at first until we got the hang of things and then possibly run separate vehicles.
