I like the Steyr, not always best battles, but it works out for me. What really was the critical thing in the battles: always lots and lots of TD. WG urgently need to something on this. Limititing TD in battles - like the limits to arta - is urgently needed. WG pushed on to worsen situation in the last years as there have been new TD-Techtrees for italy, japan and poland. all fo the techtrees have some borderline tanks in the mid tiers to f-up Matchmaker.

When I can buy the boxes, I was waiting so much for today and in the end a total disappointment.

I really dislike that tank. It isn't too bad but it is somewhat similar to the M56 Scorpion which is better in any way. Better mobility, penetration, camo and the gun handling just feels better than on Steyr. M56 Scorpion would be a bit crazy if it had fully rotatable turret, but even though Steyr has a fully rotatable turret, it is just not a good tank.

Unfortunately the all Tier 7 is broken... U will farmed by OP Tier 8 prem. tanks. Always make me smile, when WG advertise a prem. Tier 7 tank. It's pure scam....

I love paper TDs coz I feel like they're balanced. If you know what to do, you can dominate with them or against them. Skorpion is one of my favorite, as well as the SU-130PM. More of the same please !
The Heavies - I'd skip personally. Already have enough Soviet and German Heavies.

I already got the IS-2M for free from earlier this year, through some event, so I think I'll pick this tank over the VK
VK seems too generic and paper for a heavy, especially considering the Tiger I is leagues ahead of it anyway, and the King Tiger and Kuro or whatever they are called are also better armored with the same gun

Ive always liked the Steyr.
It's rated 2 for its 'overall' stats by Skill, but if I'm rating it for what it is - a sneaky little sniper - it's a solid 4/5 for me.
Of course you're relying on getting the right maps, but that goes for most of the tanks in this game.
Even if you are bottom tier every battle, you can still do a fair amount of damage in it.

If you like that play-style, it's a pretty good choice.
I'd certainly choose it over the VK (which isn't great), and if you already have one of the many IS-2 clones there's no point getting the IS-2M.

Gun hits where you point it usually....so its OP.

The 2 bumps on the hull deck of Krupp-Steyr Waffenträger make the gun depression not constant 8°, and make tracking target very tricky sometimes.
Tiger I used to have the same gun, and I kinda wish this gun got the 280 alpha mod, but sometimes the faster reload 240 alpha gun is better.

I think this TD should get the 280 alpha of the tech tree Tiger 88. Would still be pretty balanced.

Skill could you possibly do an advanced guide on what to do is these TDs if your team just gets wiped? I often times find myself unable to push or create pressure but also unable to snipe as well usually i have medium and heavies sitting behind me instead of moving in front of me and spotting so I actually can keep trying to do my best

why do you always burp in every video?

This vehicle is the German copy of the US Scorpion. No armour, good gun, middle to low mobility.
Differences?
Size. Scorpio is almost as tiny as the ELC EVEN. Much better for being unseen. It can fight with no risk where SU-130 PM may be seen after firing.
Turret. Scorpio has no turret, the gun has a limited traverse angle. So, it has to move its tracks (and lose camouflage) when enemies spread around a wide arc.
Weight. Scorpio 1 mm armour makes it so light that the 0-x km/h acceleration is very good. But when it's rammed by anything (typically at the final rush of a losing battle) it dissolves like salt in water.

Like this tank very much. It trains you so that you can adjust to t9 wt auf pz td faster. It also has like 46% cammo with crew skills. Good for credit farming
