Seriously, riding bikes in the trailer park was everything. It was a set area that everyone knew you'd be in and half of your friends would be "locked out of their house because their dad wanted to watch a movie." People were sent outside like they were being sent to their rooms. God damn if you couldn't ride the whole neighborhood without touching your handlebars, though.

Broke into the neighbors to play the super Nintendo cause they got one before I did

My best friend from childhood up to being my best man and lifelonng homie was adopted at 9 to a wealthy family in our city. He grew up in foster care from 3 to when he was adopted.
He would hot burgle homes in the 7th grade. What that means is, he went into occupied homes! He'd steel little things like a few nice pens, food, or a figurines and he'd put them in his tree house in his backyard. One day he broke into a pad that had government staples. Cheese, bologna box milk. He left that pad with a 20 dollar bill on the counter.
Never was caught. He was a adrenalin junkie. He only did it in the whole 7th grade. After that nothing major. After college he went into the peace corps then a career in the US Army as a infantry officer (Abn). He retired a colonel.

God, this show is so dang good. I love the way you unlock old memories in people. I laughed so hard when Chelcie reminded me of the phase I went through where for every present, I asked for a stack of colored construction paper. Haven't thought of that in years!!!

My mother and dad didn't care where I went either during the day or evening at night they might come out to sidewalk and see if I'm coming home up and down the sidewalk that walk but mostly my mother I guess she start thinking about me when it got dark LOL well I never broke in a house but me and the neighborhood kids would go on this church upstairs and it was so beautiful I guess compared to our houses I don't know the furniture and we called it the beauty room and we just sit there and talk.🤩🤩🎃

Thanks for the video I really enjoyed seeing Chelsea is a little girl. I'm 90 years old now so when I would I don't know if we broke into the church or what it's probably just open nobody ever found out cuz we didn't mess it up or anything I met some grown up not too long ago and the doctor's office and he said Remember the beauty room I thought oh my gosh.

I'm 30 yrs older than Chelcie, & her "running wild" childhood was the norm in the 50's. Children were expected to play outside, not in the house. So in Summer & after school til dark, we roamed around in Little Rascal gangs riding bikes & playing games. It also taught us Freedom & made us THINK for ourselves & not need constant approval!😅😂LOL
