Prize Pool Savings Initial Impressions!

Really liking these type of banks / savings apps that have a sort of fun, rewarding, lottery-like sweepstake system (man that's a mouthful).

Anyways, I'll be checking with the official FDIC website, and Evolve bank, just to double check on this, and if it's legit, I'll be totally getting it

I think the reason no one is interested in saving is the paltry interest rate.

Back when ing direct was offering 6-8%, I took advantage of it.

That’s the last time I had a savings account, since interest rates plummeted & I saw no value leaving my money there.

Enter Yotta, now I have a savings account again. Only averaging 3.6% APY combined for the last 5 weeks, but at least it’s slightly besting inflation.

Appalling that interest rates are so low, compared to being more than 20x that 2 decades ago.

No wonder no one wants to leave their hard earned money in big banks & have to take riskier gambles.

so, i put in 50 dollars. I get 50 tickets. Someone else puts in 100,000 dollars. They get 100,000 tickets... Does this mean I'm already at a huge disadvantage?
