I have been an admirer of Sona for several years now. Her voice, musicianship skill as a writer and arranger and band leader are all world class. While the other kora player played fast, comparable to a guitar shredder, Sona's tone, voicings, time and cadence are far superior.

This instrument has to be one of the most underrated instruments. In the hands of a skilled virtuoso it’s one of the most beautiful instruments I’ve heard.
