the really weak lows are not wondering me when you run 8600Mb/s.
would love to see a 12h Karhu or P95 large fft over night to see if this is even remotely stable.

I really like your approach in testing. One thing that is in my opinion smart thing to do is to show games how they run not just to put a graph and that's it. One can say that you faked the graphs.

Intel must cut the price of i9 285k about 15% , no one should buy this CPU at current price

Hey man you seem like you might know the answer to this. If you had to choose between 9950x or 285k for work and gaming, which would you choose? I am hearing reports about input lag with the 285k, is this a thing? Has it been fixed?

Why you have no overclocked the E-Core's??! My 245k is OC@[email protected] - [email protected]@[email protected]@[email protected]@5.3-5.5Ghz-Ram@7715Mhz@Cl32-43 ( AIDA64 68NS Latency), with this settings,I' "destroy" a 14900k in default settings!! ( F1 24) The Core Ultra models need a little bit of tuning, good memory timings and speed... In a few months Microsoft and Intel have improvments, who will still get a few percent out of it,certainly....

Who the hell buys these new chips today to game at 1080p? The benchmarks are 1080p because that's the only way it's interesting. If the tests were at 1440p or 4K this wouldn't even be worth making a video because the scores would all be the same.

I find that the industry keeps pushing so much BS code that doesn't seem to actually add to quality of life in computing for the average user.
Like with my i9 7980xe Opera uses 4-5 cores now. This is rediculous.

Nice data. I have been trying to also support the benefits of the 14th gen with my waterblock/direct die comparison from a temperature standpoint. 14th gen CPUs are great platforms as long as you can keep them cool...and its definitely possible. Thank you for your work with this comparison.

You people are hilarious. For almost TWENTY YEARS articles, reviewers, and users complain Intel ran too hot, Intel was a power hog, Intel is too expensive.

Now you guys get a CPU with slightly less performance, using HALF the power, and it’s the coolest flagship Intel CPU… and you shit all over it—still.

I’m convinced reviews on all this hardware is a waste of time. Just give me a website with screenshots of your findings, I’m starting to mute videos like yours and just skip around looking for tiles anyway.

FWIW, I’m not some intel fanboi, I’m enjoying my 9800x3d. But these guys are just a hoot.

I'm glad that Intel's new offering didn't blow the socks off of my i9 14900KS, not that there's an easily perceivable difference in the overall performance, I'm just glad the KS is still the strongest performer. As a Custom PC builder with 35 years of building experience, I aim to sell all my in-stock CPUs before AMD or Intel debut their latest chip, for obvious reasons.
I really need to finish my 14900KS build before any new CPUs debut. I have two or three unfinished "spec" PC builds that I began building about 6 months ago, but I need more motivation to finish the spec builds since nobody's waiting on them.

This newer chip is at the start of going in the proper direction. Lower watts and higher FPS should of been mandatory. It shouldn't be losing frames to an older cpu.

When I see CPU comparisons, they are always compared with gaming in mind. I'm not a gamer. I'm a 3D CAD modeler. How does Intels "Core Ultra" CPUs compare with i7/i9 14th Gen CPUs using software like Blender, UE5. and other AutoDesk programs like Revit?
Thx
