I haven't listened to an music artists interview in a long time...and got damnit he nailed every point, wasn't super long with a lot of filler, nope this interview was all killer. Some people gonna say he's turning into an old head though...no he's turned into a well refined artistic genius, he's always had it, but his maturity has been cultivated and refined it. Godspeed Tyler.

I heard another interview where tyler said he only gets to see his mum for 1 hour because he might have an interview or he’s busy! But in this he states that he’s 100% free. If you cant spend time with your own mother whenever you want for as-long as you want, are you truly free?

I’m nowhere near as successful financially as Tyler but I’ve made enough money that I can do what I want, when I want, travel where I want, no one can tell me what to do. Last month I took my mum to Hawaii and I come from a poor up bringing from England.

I’m saying this because Tyler saying that has made me realise, you don’t need to mega successful to be free and succeed in life, and when you aim to high you end up being trapped by different things and you’re just living in an illusion that you’re free. Elon musk is the best example, richest guy in the world, i doubt he can have a week off if he wanted to, because he has to much responsibility!

Also I’m not saying don’t strive for greatness, but I think everyone should strategically choose how they want their life to be. Every aspect of their life!

When people say the richest people are the most depressed. I don’t think it’s because money makes you depressed, I think it’s because the path they took to make money has made them
Less free than when they were broke, so that’s why they are depressed!

But back to Tyler, I honestly think his happy with how he has chosen his life, I just don’t think being a succesful artist is as free as you can be! And I hope he spends lots of time with his mother, because that will be one of his biggest regrets!
