Woolworth Building
ОтветитьSuch a great explanation, when the first time I came to nyc, I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought that The Chrysler Building was The Empire Building.Because it's so stand out of the other buildings ,even The Empire Building isn't as beautiful as Chrysler ,but of course my personal opinion.
ОтветитьI think we need a whole series of Art Deco building in NYC
ОтветитьThank you for an architectural close-up tour of the Chrysler Building! A landmark so famous that Armageddon and Godzilla both featured its fictional destruction ☄️
ОтветитьArt Deco is beautiful. Modern buildings are ugly and embarrassment of how far we have fallen in creating works of beauty.
ОтветитьMr. Wyetzner knows so much about the NY skyscrapers and the Art Deco style, yet his office only produces these boring modernist structures. Why?
ОтветитьAs a born and bred NYer, the Chrysler building is my favorite. I feel that the Empire State is a boy, and Chrysler building is a girl. They’re a classic NY power couple. And the lady is sooooo glamorous.
ОтветитьI know nothing about architecture, but I can listen to him talk about it all day long
ОтветитьAmazing how they built these awesome iconic blogs in the 30s
ОтветитьTo me the crystal is the king of NY just an absolute gem
ОтветитьWonderful narraTion by you sir
ОтветитьIconic - one of the most overused words in the English language. Otherwise very interesting.
Ответитьplease keep it coming Micheal Wyetzner, I knew nothing about architecture, but Im learning so much with your videos🎉🎉
ОтветитьMy grandfather always said “the Chrysler building is too pointy”
ОтветитьMy favourite building in NYC
ОтветитьWell done, beautiful building
ОтветитьBack when some things were built for beauty, then function.
ОтветитьThanks for an enjoyable review of this magnificent icon.
ОтветитьWasn’t 40 wall tallest for shortest 2 months 😵💫
ОтветитьCheck out the Buffalo City building which is also Art Deco!
ОтветитьWie fühlen Sie sich alles Sozialismus aus Frankreich bitteschön..............................................?
ОтветитьWhen America was great - sadly.
ОтветитьThe most beautiful skyscraper ever built? - Yes, I think so.
ОтветитьIt's subtle, but if you listen closely, this guy has whatever Christopher Walken's accent is.
ОтветитьThe future was supposed to be Art Ddco
ОтветитьIt's so beautiful. Beauty in architecture is extremely underrated.
ОтветитьThe care and imagination which went into building this incredible structure is off the scale. NYC simply wouldn't be NYC without the Chrysler.
ОтветитьThe Chrysler building has always been my favorite skyscraper.
ОтветитьWhat a wonderful video. The beautiful ornate crown of the Chrysler Building somehow has a resemblance to the pinnacle crowns of the Petronas Twin Towers in KL, Malaysia.
ОтветитьIt's wonderful in comparison to the bland skyscrapers built now.
Ответитьamazing
ОтветитьI was listening but not watching when he said 'World Trade Center' and thought I had slipped timelines
ОтветитьI love the Chrysler building so much.. the art deco style is one of my favourites and an architectural design that can’t be replicated today. Every detail is stunning.
ОтветитьChervons & lighting bolts are used in almost every culture.
ОтветитьHow about the Kodak Building in Rochester?
ОтветитьThis is the type of expert I love to listen to
ОтветитьGreat show!
Ответитьtell me about the full history of the Whitehouse including all previous examples

ОтветитьI love art deco style in all it's iterations, and this narrator, who just nails it.
ОтветитьOne of these days, I’m going to go inside this gorgeous building. I’ve always loved it.
ОтветитьTrack this dude’s origin and we’ll find Christopher Walken’s voice origin
ОтветитьLIES!! This building is a Tartarian structure.
ОтветитьTartarian Empire building, build by the previous civilization
ОтветитьEnjoy your videos. Thanks!
