ОтветитьI love your videos. I'm a beginner and it's so helpful. Thank you.
ОтветитьMuch to hard to read the small fast print and hammer and print pops up in different areas and remove to fast for me .Look like some good measurement but it's going to take my mourning to see this lessons.I've moved along
Thank you for your efforts Sir. I could not do better. Thanks

ОтветитьMate is this 16mm square stock?
ОтветитьWhat size square bar is that?
ОтветитьAll around awful video not helpful at all great tongs tho to bad you need a pair to make a pair
ОтветитьJaws not exactly the same length, but, do need to be? This post has given me ideas, thats exactly why I watch , thank you!
ОтветитьWhat is the stock size and length u left out the length I think it said 16 mm thick
ОтветитьThank you very much you realy helped my oud !!
ОтветитьI like this m lethod because it does not rely on twisting the jaw at the end, which can lead to fatigue/crack/cold shut
ОтветитьMade a pair of tongs once or twice I see ...... were not worthy. : /
ОтветитьMy favorite video on tong making. I followed this video this morning and made my first set of tongs. They're nowhere near as nice as the ones you made, but they work and that's what matters. The next set will be even better. Thanks again for making this video!
ОтветитьCan i ask you how long the bar was at the start?
Ответитьwhat size stock is this?
ОтветитьAs a total beginner, it's perfect to start and learn! I'm gonna try ASAP! Thanks from France! Keep doing some tool making tutos like that!!
ОтветитьThank you very much for the awesome video! I just made my first pair of tongs pausing your video as I went along. Excellent instruction!
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьThanks bro!
ОтветитьBonjour de France !
WAAOOUU MERCI forger SES pinces quel BOULOT...
You are an artist !
ОтветитьThis is by far the most informative video I've seen on forging tongs. Awesome. Thank you so much!
ОтветитьI have like a half inch gap between the jaws. How can I fix it
Ответитьgreat video, awesome info very re-watchable for intuition. just scratching my head why anyone could dislike this.
ОтветитьJust like a lion playing with two of his cubs. Tough and tender at the same time. For i could have broken that thing in millinion pieces.
ОтветитьYou don’t want your rivet material to be thinner than the cross section of the boss. By using a rivet that’s too small you’ve created a weak spot in the most crucial area of the piece.
ОтветитьPERFECT ... MY SKILLS ARE NOT THAT GREAT YET ... BUT ONE DAY!!!!
ОтветитьDetailed as can be. Can you tell me the initial length of the 16mm square stock, seems I've missed it? Cheers
ОтветитьCan you make bonsai concave cutter & knob cutter ?
ОтветитьI really need to get better at tongs, yeh, I can make something that resemble tongs, good enough to pass as tongs but they are not tongs! Great instruction, more to put into my brain cells almost fully loaded with tong making! One day, hopefully soon all of it will weld together and provide me with solutions!
Ответить👍🔥🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьI am planning on my own forge build, have the materials and patterns cut out. Glad I found this video, these tongs will be one of my first projects.
ОтветитьBrilliantly simple with an eloquent presentation.
ОтветитьI just forged my first tongs with this video, thank you so much for the indepth tutorial
ОтветитьAt my college they tell u to use the sharp edges for setdowns, they aren't sharp but they are square. Either way good work
ОтветитьGood job 👍
