PoMo is formulated on the motte and bailey fallacy concerning absolute or objective truth. You honestly can't say western science is as valid as indigenous reasoning when it comes to analyzing the understanding physical world. If you buy postmodernism's motte "there's no objective truth" then you buy the bailey "science is an arbitrary story and reiki is just as valiid - healing crystals at 534Hz work!". That's the whole point of science - generate knowledge about objective reality. I'm under no illusion that equations are reality - that is, I'm mistaking the map for the territory. But surely as evolved creatures - maybe - just maybe a more complete picture will be painted given enough time. Foucault is wrong - "politlcal power or social construction" doesn't determine if "1 + 1 = 2" Power is a one trick pony - totallizing and simplistic explanation of reality. Even Noam Chomskey thought 60-70's era french intellectuals were obsessed with the notion of power. Don't get me going on Alan Sokal and the Grievance Affairs Hoax - PoMo is gibberish.

I like you Leo. Love the solipsism video - I'm a meditator and often wonder what it's like for ground state consciousness (must be awfully lonely being the only game in town). But I'm going to have to disagree with you on the utility of PoMo. It's a net negative.

I'm shocked by the changes there have been to the people I know who consider themselves to be educated. I understand that this is a complex subject, but I will watch until the end to try to see if I might have been given the wrong impression based on how it has affected their worldview. Before we push towards the future we should all recognize that an imperfect being cannot create a perfect world. We have great examples of our history and there is a common approach to how we hope to live our lives. Have we been living in a way that reflects an appreciation to being alive on this planet? If you live your life and are honest with yourself you know whether or not you have lived to your fullest potential.

Logic or rationality is simply a measure of continuity of ideas, in other words it measures whether or not an argument is self consistent. However an argument can be self consistent or valid and yet founded on false assumptions. Logic does not determine truth but rather determines if your conclusions are consistent with your initial assumptions. I think this subject gets into the relative nature of perception itself and recognizes the function of language as knowledge representation and inasmuch is relative to an individual’s frame of reference or paradigm. I’m not sure I agree with the notion that there is no such thing as an absolute reality however, due to the relative and dualistic nature of language even if one were to grasp it, it would be impossible to communicate. I do however hold that there is an absolute reality which encompasses all perspectives because I have experienced through psychedelics however I’m unable to comprehend it through the mind or communicate it. I’m sure you have as well which is part of struggle with integrating these revelations that come in heightened states of consciousness. It’s like knowing the world’s biggest secret and yet you’re incapable of telling anyone.

I have been contemplating a lot the nature of our world. All this infinite intelligence which is all around us - that's not random or blind evolution. Everything is carefully calculated to perfection. That's God. And because everything is God - including nothing, this means we are all God and always have been and always will be because God cannot be something different than Itself by definition. That's not a curse because why the perfect being would like to be something different than Itself?

And the most difficult thing for me to accept - that God loves everything equally and infinitely in a way God allows the existence of the greatest Heaven and the greatest Hell. And I got triggered because it is extremely difficult to accept all the unimaginable pain and suffering to be absolute love because they contradict our desire for endless survival. But the Devil is any limited form which wants to be eternal like the real highest identity - God. That's why solipsism is true - because there is one being - God which is playing multiplayer with Itself. One player playing all games simultaneously. And I am also It. And life is pointless because there is no point to achieve anything because everything is already perfect. It's so beautiful that I can finally accept my physical death as a limited being and embrace my infinite nature. This was the goal all along. God is whole, God is perfect, God makes no mistakes and we are God no matter the individual suffering or bliss it is divine. Knowing this I will live the rest of my life as this finite player, played by the perfect being in the perfect game of Love.

Have you heard of the work of Donald Hoffman? He's a cognitive psychologist (currently). He argues that evolution pushes us away from seeing reality as it is, with it's survival pressures. To be good at surviving and reproducing, passing on your genes and continuing your species, you have to be likeable, to agree with the majority as much as possible, and to be highly adapted to the situation you're in (planetary and environmental conditions, specie characteristics, availaability of resources, social status, etc.). The process of adaptation, according to him, will enhance your senses and skill to perceive reality in certain ways, and dull down any other perception or ways of thinking. And since we exist today after long evolutionary process, Hoffman states, all of us would be highly specialized and conditioned to perceive the worlds in certain way. To the point, that spacetime itself, together with all our notions of objects, properties, movements, changes, and so on, would be just a highly specialized construct...

By the way, I think you should research autism some more. You're mixing up ideas of low IQ and inability to do STEM jobs and activities with autism. Autistic people are neither less intelligent, nor less able to learn or engage in technical skills. In fact, it might be just the opposite.
