One time you could have 'some' confidence in these Poles. They have been discredited lately you can not take them serious.

Everything is an absolute mess.
24% is a very small majority that thinks a good job being done at the mo.

Everyone else is completely disillusioned.

Thats the real state of play.

Daragh O’Brian just before the election. ‘I’m expecting about 40k completions for 2024’. Election happens he runs out of the department and the true figure of just over 29k, way down on 2023 comes out with nobody held to account. Pure lies ahead of the election and he’s gone. Farcical.

What is the point in an opinion poll at this stage? A government has just been formed and intends to run a full term. The one poll that mattered was at the end of last year. Then FF and FG were neck and neck and the vagaries of the electoral system led to FF winning disproportionately more seats.

Sin Fein will never get a pathway to government. They have an overwhelming negative association with the provisional IRA and Gerry Adam’s . Mary Lou is a skillled orator but she’s no way leadership material .
