I don't know if you noticed well, most of the highways here are bellow the ground level, last time when I visited T-Nagar I got frustrated seeing the road built above the old road and destroying the beauty of the city. Montreal is the second best model city recommended by the UN. Somebody from the Tamil Nadu government has to visit to learn about this model and cut and remove the by-pass road/roads (Canada has the technology to cut and remove) and dig a by-pass road below the old road and then connect the cross roads by short bridges.
