Absolutely it is, I love how genuine Cbell is in the way he portrays this journey to reach the pinnacle of Rocket League. im a diamond and i really do deserve champ, I beat them all the time but somehow still stuck, i do mistakes sometimes but my mates do SUCK im so much better than the average diamond, also im stuck in plat 1s for over 5 years cause i get matched with high champ and sometimes gcs

hey cbell, im champ 3, and have replays of me beating over 20 grand champion players, i also have crazy mechanics, and decent game sens and most people cant tell the difference between me and gc-ssl. I also have previously had my gc2 friend play 2s with me, and i was able to even get more points than him in grand champ lobbies, how come i am not gc yet? i need answers.

man honestly i be havin a great day, playin rocket league, i'll admit to mistakes i make in a match and we chillin, then some dude with a temper starts being toxic and only then does the fun stop, i don't really understand why people choose to be dickheads when you're better off focusing on what YOU did wrong and improving that, if your teammate is not up to par then so be it, it's one match out of however many you wish to play in your lifetime, one loss means nothing, one win means nothing, if you care about ranking up, simply not losing is not gonna help you, and getting mad when you lose will help you even less, for you to rank up your rank doesn't actually matter, how you play matters, how you treat your teammates because you can easily turn your teammate against you if you're a dickhead the whole game, be able to see your mistakes and don't take them too seriously, if there's something you can't do you can always practice to do it, your skills are not set in stone so dont feel so bad about making a blunder or a bad play or an unfortunate challenge, and lastly and truly this is the most important is to have fun as you said

I just binged the series and I noticed a recurring theme. You get stuck, you get a half hour coaching session, you find one line in it that you feel unlocks something, you focus on it for the next several games and you go past a plateau. Then, a week or two later, you do it all again where you latch onto a different line, a different trick of understanding, and so on. All through the process, your mechanics are getting automatic and you are developing higher-level instincts.

Somewhere in here, maybe a few weeks ago, maybe a few weeks from now, you have all the skills you need for SSL, and the only thing missing is the mental. You have to get out of your own way and let yourself have it. Giving athletes that mental is why top level sports psychologists make the big bucks. So, keep playing, keep automating those instincts so you don't have to think so much, and keep talking to your coaches and higher level friends to see if one of them has the next line you need to get past the last plateau.

As someone who’s been hardstuck in D1 for multiple years the playerbase around it has gotten more and more unbalanced as time and is more of a hell to grind through than you think it is everyone’s either very mechanical or only really capable of hitting the ball normally and nothing else, i have even fallen as far as P1 just because of how unbalanced either my teamates (well mostly my teamates) or i myself am compared to the rest and also just some mistakes which is a whole other topic that should be impossible to exist or almost seen as inhuman logic, If you’re someone like me and has had this issue don’t worry too much about getting that far up in the ranks as honestly your present self is the best version of you in toy car soccer no matter how great you are at this game

I make videos and play rocket league because I love the game. But you have to weigh the pros and cons if you're going for Supersonic Legend... is it worth the sacrifices? I think no. But if you can do it while having fun, then that's enough
