I really liked the idea of riding with a constant heart rate. On a side note: the shipping container story must have been a fluke, or some inspired detective work. There is no way a GPS signal can penetrate a sealed steel container, it is a perfect Faraday's cage.

haha. my friend at uni did exactly the same coat for his project, and none of the instructors liked it, even the one that cycled to work.

I just installed turn signals that go inside the ends of the handle bar tube, it's a new innovation from a UK company, I've been using them and think they are pretty neat when it's dark. Great video btw!

The problem (I love the Copenhagen wheel for example) is that I don't have won't own a cell/iphone so most of this 'stuff' is useless to someone to me.

the abus locks are a new thing? they are old in Germany. I have two of them, 120€ each. 2 years old but there are also much older locks out there.... the good thing about them, there was no one yet who could pick them. you really need to cut them....
