I don't know man, i am not bothered by the casting choices based on the skin but actors have to be strong performance wise which physical look ads a lot to. And the main cast seems kinda not.. the main actor doesn't really look like someone who would be followed as a king. He seems frail and small, even his voice lacks a bit of testosterone. Maybe I'm harsh but i think it's valid to search a physically strong and authoritative person when you're going to cast them as a King Arthur. This guy looks like a garden dwarf...

I am a fan of bernard cornwell and the historical fiction genre. I understand it takes a lot of effort to bring a story to life on screen, but this trailer looks generic and boring.

I do love it that Fitz took up an action role though.

All I saw was the comment made by @nathanmorgan3647 and thought, oh no…then I scrolled through and read so many others and the desire to watch has been black bagged and taken to an undisclosed location. Watching the trailer, I had no idea who anyone but Arthur was, now it makes sense. Well, that sucks.
I did enjoy the BBC’s twist on the Arthurian lore (Merlin). Lots of humor in that series and I ended up loving Arthur and Merlin’s more brotherly bond. But it was absent of the woke ideologies we see shoved into almost everything nowadays. If anyone hasn’t seen it, and you enjoy King Arthur stories, give it a watch. Production value gets better with every season. There’s only 5, which ended up disappointing, but they wanted to quit while they were ahead and doing well I guess.

I'm about to finish reading Excalibur. Was curious about the show since the book trilogy has been fantastic, and I can tell by the trailer that the series is trash. Very disappointing. Give this to HBO (GOT) or FX (Shogun) so it will be done at least halfway right.

I wanted to watch this but seeing Africans & modern haircuts, has made it look really fake.

What a terrible music... this looks nothing like adaptation of an outstanding book/trilogy , which I read with excitement... Very discouraging 😢
