i find this so lazy and boring, like whats the poin of the game? like you can kill on the surface and never need to go explore like bro play with cheat instead, maybe the only mods that werent totaly owerpovered were the quick crafting scroling and quick platform building. I love the Too Many Accessories mod cause it turns Terraria into The Binding of Isaac basically.

I'd honestly use most of these unironically. Little known fact: videogames should bring joy, and some people either don't feel the happiest that possibly can by doing chores all day, or have chores irl so at that point there's no difference between playing Terraria or doing the dishes.

honestly the forest point thing sounds pretty good, just gotta balance it a bit

What's your favourite flavour of milk?

The only reason why I put QoL mods in are just to remove tedium, like needing to replenish buff potions instead of just having a 30 stack for a permanent buff to save going back and forth (or to avoid the really unengaging fishing)

Or excavation because digging with anything below titanium tier is slow as hell
Or a platform builder because the smart cursor sometimes really hates me

And the token type mods are good for multiplayer (and fargo's mod) since some things are finite or so exceedingly (and annoyingly) rare that you just don't want to play the game anymore because you spent 3 hours grinding for an item you'll drop after the next boss

But when it gets to the point where it's basically automating the game rather than removing some tedium that makes the game boring (any game with any excessive tediousness instantly earns my disdain), then at that point just watch someone else play it

Despite all the expediting mods, this has got to be the longest 11 minute video that I have ever watched in my entire life.
