Hi, the promocode is not working
ОтветитьSubscription for service is a non starter for me.
ОтветитьIf you were to get the Eero at half off let's say, a price far better than the Nest or Deco - would you still go for a TPLink? Btw.. thank you for your detailed explanation, it's been a while I haven't revamped my home network (10 yrs) and I am way over due, so I am little rusted on all the current WiFi technologies, thank you again!
ОтветитьWould you be able to do a review and test on the new deco PX50 with Ghn power line and how it compares to its older brother the P9?
ОтветитьYou did not mention if the eero and Nest can be configured to use the 6ghz as dedicated wireless backhaul.
ОтветитьHad the XE75 Pro 3 pack in the UK to go with my 900/900 near gigabit line . Upgraded from a 3 Pack M9 Deco. Positives for the XE75 Pro was slightly better range that the M9s ( all units in same place ) dont have 6e devices so on 6Htz backhaul and on AX210 Intel wifi on laptop fastest wifi speed was about 800mbs ( Main unit ).
But found the system buggy, got hit by DFS radar strikes alot ( 160htz band ) so kept knocking the satellite's out. Basically hardware good but firmware support is terrible. TP link have a single person on firmware who only works Tuesdays for the whole world 😥, Very Very slow firmware updates.
Returned to Amazon and went back to my Deco M9 plus, not fully using my my gigabit currently but more stable which is more important. Waiting to see if the firmware improves before rebuying either XE75 or XE75 Pro later.
Bought TP-Link deco, set it up, liked it, then packed it up.. as I am told of security issue with it.
ОтветитьWhy do you guys that make all the comparisons of these systems never check the number of devices that connect to the mesh system, I have somewhere around 30 devices, and with my Tplink systems X60 (old network) and AX5300 (Old Network), my 2.4 Gh devices would drop, I worked with TpLink tech support for about a month and found out that they lie about the number of devices that can be connected to there mesh system They created on both of my systems a separate software from what comes with the routers and I still had issues, so I am now trying the Google Nest wifi Pro and so far not impressed.
ОтветитьIf you want stable connection! where you forget about wifi! go with google! nest ! if you want headache: go with Eero
ОтветитьWhich one of these mesh allows you to name 2.4 and 5.0 with different names? The reason is when you buy one of those light bulbs or outlets that only work on 2.4 it's easier to pick the 2.4 by name to connect. If both are named, the same router will try to make it connect to 5.0 which will not work. I know some routes let you use different names, and some don't. Do you have a list of which router or mesh system lets your name each 2.4 and 5.0 different. I know my EA9500 linksys does but the guest network no longer works so look for new router or mesh. I want one that guest network works and can name different 2.4 and 5.0. Thanks for anyone help.
ОтветитьI bought nest pro, super buggy, could not get IPV6 to work at all. Very unstable, points kept dropping off network even with wired backhaul. Returned and got Eero6e. So much better. IPv6 immediately worked. Ultra stable. Lower latency, faster speeds, no drops.
ОтветитьOkay so I'm a little confused on this wired backhaul thing. I'm buying a new house and it's a 2 story. The main part where the wifi will be is downstairs but I have an ethernet port in my room upstairs. Does that count as wired backhaul If I plug the second mesh to that? Is that basically the same as running a cord without actually running the line.
ОтветитьThanks for convincing me to buy the Deco XE75
ОтветитьWhich is better the xe75 or 75 pro
ОтветитьBest comparison done ✅
ОтветитьIt’s too bad that you substitute the names of the products with the word “this” about 100 times. Because as you’re blazing through the differences in each product, you are using the pronoun “this”…So I don’t know what the heck you’re talking about unless I am watching your hands to see which product you’re describing. And they are all three small white objects.
ОтветитьIncredibly helpful comparison!
ОтветитьI think overall the Google Nest is the optimal choice.
Ответитьlol over peeps who think they need more than 1gig..
ОтветитьI hope you could help me solve my problem with my Google Nest Wifi pro. well the mesh is working great but my 2nd node that I put in the master bedroom is keep loosing the connection of the wifi even though that the node is not getting offline
ОтветитьTP Link Pro being returned. Originally liked the speeds and range, but my devices are constantly dropping the internet. Getting a lot of “unstable internet connection” errors on zoom video. Only have a modem connected to them. Tried changing a bunch of settings to no avail ☹️
ОтветитьCan you hook them up with Ethernet backhaul but without daisy chaining them? I want all of them to be hooked up directly to my switch and act as accesspoints
ОтветитьWhy your internet speed showed 1547 for a single router when your mentioned your top speed is 1gig?
ОтветитьI have a 2400 sqft townhouse, it's 3 floors all above ground. Do you think 2 of the deco xe75 will work, or do I need to go for a 3 pack?
Ответитьwould u still suggest these? ive tried eero and decos.. decos seem better.. but do u think the asus mesh is better?
ОтветитьI've read horror stories about the Deco networking going completely down if the internet goes off-line. Have you heard of this or experienced this?
ОтветитьI do not trust TP link. had a gaming router. which worked really well until it stopped working out of the blue TP link will not replace it due to four years old.
ОтветитьIf the mesh (not the main one) is wireless connected to the main one, and a device is connected by wire to the wireless connected mesh, will this increase the speed to the device compared to if the device is wireless connected to the same mesh router?
ОтветитьJust installed the Google wifi pro, very easy , only took a half hour to get all 3 running. Signals are strong and faster than the spectrum one we had.
ОтветитьJust the review I was looking for, bcos I have XE-75 and just wanted to know if the Google Nest was better. But I concur with you, the XE-75 is better with more Lan ports... but, in my experience, the Deco mesh with a default "channel width for wifi 5Ghz at 160Mhz" will not work with Samsung Wi-Fi 5 compatible devices: except the width channel is changed in the Deco App to 80Mhz channel. (Not sure if Samsung S23 and above can at 160Mhz)
ОтветитьLOL SMASH LOL
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьNow that Deco has a pro version with 2.5Gbps port, it's an even clearer winner, right?
ОтветитьEero has parental control, I have been using one for the last couple of years. You can create profile for each users like your kids then tailor it to each individual.
Ответитьreally good reviews, thanks you have helped me choose a new Mesh system.
ОтветитьExcellent video. Love the explanation, really helped me. Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you for the excellent review. I was tossing up between the eero and google nest. I had not considered the tp-link until I watched this video review. Based on my use case the tp-link will actually be better for me so have now purchased the XE75 3-pack. I am so glad I came across your video.
ОтветитьI just bought the TP-Link Deco XE75 and it's working out great. I had Deco S4 previously. For comparison, my old speeds were 125-250 Mbps throughout the house. Now, it's 250-500 Mbps, basically double. Range seems better, zero dead spots. I debated with Eero, but since my previous Deco was fairly solid, ended up staying with TP-Link.
ОтветитьWith Prime Day coming up, the Eero 6E 3-pack is $475cad. The TP Link Deco XE75 3 pack is $600cad. I would mostly be using wireless backhaul. With the firmware update to the Eero 6E, would this be the better option for the price?
ОтветитьGreat review wish I came across this a week ago just wondering does Eero combine all 3 bands into one ssid like Nest pro or has separate 6ghz like Deco?
ОтветитьWait do all of them require subscription?
ОтветитьI have the XE75…. How do you turn on or verify the 6Mhz backhaul? Thanks. 🥳
ОтветитьIf I have a 1400 SF home but over 4 floors (~350 SF per floor) could I really get away with one router or will it not work vertically very well? Better to get 2 or 3 satellites?
ОтветитьI had the decox20. Upgraded to WiFi pro since i use google home ,,, the only thing I miss from the deco is the deco app,,, Im debating in returning the nestpro and getting upgraded version of deco :(
ОтветитьYour videos are truly underrated.
Ответитьis the eero pro 6e POE powered or only USB-C?
ОтветитьI have four Eero 6E's in a 1600 square foot house, and they can't cover it, so not sure what the dude is talking about.
ОтветитьWhat do you suggest between 4 Nest Wifi Pro or 2 XE75 Pro . The home is about 2400 SQ. Ft. and Tri Level. It would be set up as a wireless backhaul. Thanks in advance.
