While I don't like Trump as a personal level, I do like what he had to say about war in Ukraine. "I want to people to stop dying." That war has to end but Zelenskyi, for one reason or another, doesn't want it to end. That is horrible behavior from a president of the country that is being ravaged at this moment. Ukraine will soon be a country without any young men left.

I'm open minded, it's still corruption, and I don't give a damn about looking "Presidential", whatever that means.

I think one side of the aisle saw a president standing up for American tax payers who are footing these bills around the world and feeling like they've gotten nothing for it. A more nuanced approach sees Zelensky processing a language he doesn't know, considering his words, and then slightly undermatching the tone (which in eastern Europe is a form of contriteness)

Zelensky is waging war against his own people. He's a smug man child that's used to old man Joe giving him freebies. I can see how Trump could have handled things differently. Many of us have social exchanges we can handle better than we do. The reality is Americans are tired of being used and abused by our own politicians and other world leaders that's why Trump is now president. He was hired to do a job and he's doing it. I think Trump has a strong personality and refuses to be stepped on which are great traits to see in a leader as long as they know when to humble themselves which Trump does appear to know how to. He wants our country to be truly great and for our people to stop being walked all over. Yet there's people screaming no we have to let these people use and abuse us. This is how abused people act when they protect their abusers. They hate making ripples out of fear and conditioning not to stand up for themselves.
