I really love those Kinco gloves! I own three pairs. I like how they are durable work gloves but are also plenty warm. They work great for winter camping, and also for driving around town. One of the pairs that I bought off of Amazon has leather that isn't as soft/supple as my favorite pair so that does seem to be a variable with the brand.

Nice video! I don’t like those boxes because they usually have like one decent item and the rest is like filler junk. Would rather keep an eye out for sales or deals on stuff I actually want to spend my money on.

Interesting stuff. But that's what has kept me from trying such boxes (even the much lesser priced ones from different companies) All stuff that you might use but probably wouldn't actually buy.

I signed up for the Carin box and was severely disappointed that the garbage they gave me. For having gone through a questionnaire and them not picking up that you are a backpacker is really a huge oversight.

Maybe now that you have one of these under your belt you can watch some of the other unboxing videos of these. It may give you an idea if you really want to continue with your subscription...IMHO it doesn't seem like it was worth what you spent, even at the 20% off. Any upcoming winter hikes?

I don't think 80% off is right, maybe 20%? But I could see how this could be kind of fun, just hard to justify 250$ for items you most likely won't use. Thanks for sharing your experience! 😍

mystery boxes are such a good way to capitalize on consumer culture and mindless consumption, great way to keep people spending money on junk that will just end up in landfills.
