I'm a year late, but I just watched your x-men and Simpsons videos back to back. Is the audio a patch issue or are the built in speakers Arcade1UP went with crap?

Just softmod it, much better experience and makes it 10x worth the purchase

I don't know man I'm 6'2 and I have some pretty big hands. And I have no issues with any of the characters.

Does anyone know if the game plays like it does in the original arcade? where if you get game over then you have to restart from the very beginning unless you enter a coin, have a continue etc.

Because that would be amazing and a huge purchase point for me. Don’t want like an endless continue experience and to beat the game too quickly want to have a reason to keep playing it

You're complaining about something that was in the original cabinet. The audio was garbage in the original cabinet.

I just got the last Simpsons 1up arcade machine that my local toys r us is selling for 300$ Canadian😄 I don't care what u say for 300$ I got an absolute steal👍 It's my first machine and sf2 is next on my list.

This was my first arcade1up cabinet, and i picked it up in store for $250 which was incredible. I enjoy it so far

Thanks for the review! Appreciate the honesty. I'm getting this unit, but wondering how you feel about Arcade1Up as far as warranty. Some retailers offer a 3 or 4 year extended warranty past the Arcade1Up 90day warranty, but if it breaks past that time under normal wear and tear, can you pay Arcade1Up to fix the product? We are not heavy gamers in our family, but we'd love to set up a mini-arcade game room in our basement, and wondering what your view is on their ability to help if something normal does break with system.

Did A1uup ever release a patch to fix the desync issue with the saxophone scene, and the tinny, crackly audio? Also, have you tried running an audio line from the headphone jack, to a small, external sound system?

A recroommasters arcade is a much better option

I bought this arcade for my son so I don’t really care how well it plays as long as it allows me to easily put extra games on it, now my son looks at me like i’m a superdad. I did however noticed a slight latency in Simpsons control, it is not as smooth as playing the Simpsons on PC with MAME emulator.

If I bump the pause button during bowling, rolling track ball. It freezes... sucks

Looking at the button layouts, I noticed the other players' buttons do not have the stick hand crashing the button hand. Just the second position, which think may have been done like that to avoid conflicts with the trackball. Personally, I think they could've just moved the trackball, and then everything would've been fine.

Right now I'm getting this for sub £200, more than worth it at that. It found its level 🤣🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
