I never use baits that big. I use baits similar to what you use. It was interesting seeing your collection! KIR

Marling baits caught a bass on a block of wood and a stick. Anything is possible particularly in stocked lakes/ponds. That trout is crazy! A musky might go for the trout maybe a bear lol

I've never used any lure that big, I did use a novelty spoon in a questionable shape once to catch a flounder though. I wouldn't use anything that big.

I've caught bass on the double plopper. My oldest son has had bites on the bat lure. I've caught bass and pickerel on a rapalla f-18 which is the size of the lucky strike. Also used and 8" kick tail minnow to catch bass and striper. Sometimes those big baits will surprise you what they will catch! Cool stuff Alex!

Much of what you shared is regionally targeted. Pike and Musky like big foods. The Castaic and Savage Gear 3D trout are legit.

The guys down here (Florida)use the line thur trout at spillways for really big snook. They work really good. Pretty much any big swimbait is a really good lure for big snook at the spillways. That big topwater could also be a great bait for big jacks and snook.

I decided I was going to try big baits and to my surprise I caught a nice 5 pounder with a 7in swimbait right away, but it turns out I had just gotten lucky. I fished that big bait for weeks with no bites. I went back to regular sized baits and starting catching plenty of big bass. It's still cool to try every now and then

That savage gear trout lure. I have one and though I've personally never caught anything on it, they get big Striper on these in the Colorado River around the lake Havasu area . They are popular there. Other than that though, I haven't heard of any other usage.

Weather... we in the the Northeast have had a warm winter , little of any frozen precip and for the most part our lows for the day are where the highs should be. Tons of rain and my trout rivers are flowing 5 times their normal rate. Seems like the midwest and south has been worse. But tomorrow is my birthday and I might go out and see if I can find a trout. All C&R at this time of the year. but brave the water and see what I can get. Thanks for the encouragement.

As far as these lures go, some of them are about the size of some things I use for surf casting for stripers. As for fresh water, I am not a great bass fisherman, in fact mediocre might be the best description My PB is about 1.5 lbs. None of those fish would go after any of these. If the did it might take 15 minutes to disentangle all those trebles from the fish. And trout thing is just absurd.

The giant trout lures can be used to catch sturgeon, but you’ll probably just want to use actual dead bait. Most of the rest of those are more for pike and muskie, maybe some shore predators. That’s a hell of a bass that’s taking a 190mm minnow.

The Mega Dawg is awesome bait for Stripers. We use it a lot up here in Jersey. A lot of those baits are better to target Pike, Muskies and other bigger than bass game fish. But I know in California, Texas and Florida they use those bigger swimbaits for largemouth.
