Now this is a training methodology i can get behind. As I told my wife on Christmas Day, I wasn't being a glutton eating that second piece of pie . . . I was carb loading. Then on the 26th, I set a new PB climbing the Alpe du Zwift. I submit that to you that it has now been scientifically proven that pie makes you faster.

I'm amazed at how little sweat was under Feather's bike at the end. I'm not remotely close to a monster climber, and I have 2 megafans, and there's an ocean under me after a hard effort for an hour!

I’m kind of rookie in this world of smart trainer. Can somebody here tell me what smart trainer is that one used by the champ? It has lots of movements!! You can’t stand out of the saddle and swing the bike comfortably…. can anybody help? In this matter what I saw in the market is only the rocker plate

Many top sports folks weight cycle, famously it was part of TDF winner Jan Ullrich, many boxers do this and track athletes do the same, from sprinters to 5000m. Huge benefits are training off the weight builds muscles unlike dieting which reduces muscle mass. No one can be at 5% (men) or ~10% body fat (women) for longer than 2 months without immune or muscle problems. Feather knows this works for him!

For a 'Andy Feather challenge', perhaps we could see Andy vs the rest of the GCN presenter team when he's out of his element. Maybe a flat race where his power to weight is less of an advantage? Good luck!
