I quit NaNoWriMo this year, it was my first year and I wasn’t hitting my word count goals, so I didn’t think that the effort was worth the outcome. I’m writing a dark romance and I really connected with this project so I’m still working on it, just not for NaNo!

The thing about you setting a goal to do something and then spending the morning playing Minecraft is so real and relatable. My ADHDer brain has made me the queen of procrastination. But the amazing part of it all that I’ve learned is that ADHD or not, resting can only help you reach your goal. Have an amazing day!

I am honestly feeling what you are going through right now I am going to start college soon and I don't know how I am going to plan my time with all of the hobbies I have and what I am going to do I start my freshman year in january

I'm only taking one class this semester as I'm part time but it definitely takes me away from writing. I like your purpose, conflict, outcome idea for your scene. That sounds really helpful for editing.

Hi Vee! Im 16 yo and am currently writing my third mystery book. This project is really special as it is the first book of mine I plan on actually publishing. I've gotten a lot of my story already planned out in my head. But, I'm have a really hard time starting off the first chapter. Do you have any tips for first sentences/ chapters? Im having horrible writers block 😩
