I work in tech and I’ve seen it!! My company that laid me off after 17 years uses call centers in India. It took me A YEAR to get a new job as a decorated project manager 😔 I almost drained my entire 401k just to keep us afloat because unemployment was pathetic and barely paid for groceries in this economy!!

Great show bring all this darkness out into the light. These people are so crooked and corrupt. They think anything they do is okay? People have forgot what a moral compass. He is great show again

So.... we have a problem in the U.S. according to Elon. We don't have enough "elite " brains in the field who are qualified. He says bringing in, legally, .1% won't hurt us but strengthen the field and our country, bringing good, smart people in.

We are going through this in the trucking industry. The powers that be say there is a "driver shortage". Sorry there is no such thing. They bring guys over from India Africa Mexico train them lightly put them in the driver's seat pay them .20 cents a mile. They soft pass them on their CDL. They dont know our laws customs and culture. Been run off the road lately? Bet it was an FOB (fresh off the boat)... and I would say the bribery is rampant. We have been in a Freight ressession, where rates are through the floor, these excess drivers will take the cheap freight, and American Truckers cant make a living... Not just in IT, happened to me working in a daycare! She could hire a young girl from another country cheaper than someone with years of experience and training. I’d been there 5 years and lost my job to that! Guess what? The new girl got married to get her green card and quit after 6 weeks, called me to come back and I just laughed

I work in tech, in Silicon Valley - without exaggeration I can go weeks without seeing a US- born white person either at work, or driving to and from work. The culture is completely changed, it’s not America.

Furthermore Indians don’t believe in the values we do, they ONLY how other Indians - they do this both because they prefer to work with others of their race and culture, the hiring manager receives a bribe from the family for hiring the person, and most importantly, the Indians begin to dominate the organizations within the company, they gain power in the company, and with enough time they take over the country entirely - white people are largely unaware of this, whites believe in fairness, the next person for the job - Indians don’t think this way!!

Indians also bring their entire family over as soon as 1 of them gets in the door, they have an arranged marriage and they immediately start having as many kids as possible.

It’s a COMPLETE scam - H-1B visas are a TOTAL scam it’s just a way to drive down wages that should be MUCH higher based upon the skills required and the cost of living in areas with lots of tech.

Both are on Twitter calling white men derogatory names. If ppl payed attention they would’ve noticed when Elon bought Twitter he fired the white staff and replaced them all with Asians. That is correct! I worked for an engineering company that opened a satellite office here in houston. Out of 7 engineers I was forced to bring on 4 engineers from India through H1-B
I saw what they were making and it was despicable. Our engineers start at 73k a year that’s 0-1 year experience and these guys with advanced degrees were making 35k. They didn’t say anything because they want that green card and the company was sponsoring them so they weren’t gonna make waves plus they were sending money back to their families in India. To them this was a huge opportunity. Another company I worked for was a family owned company from India. They had SO many H1-B employees they treated them like slaves. They weren’t allowed to quit. The owner actually sent them a letter telling them they HAD to continue to work for them that they owned them!! The things you see!!😮

I voted for Trump only because he's the least of two evils. His only concern is the stock market. Drill baby drill only helps the oil cos. note: look where the main pipe of the keystone pipeline ends at, a port in Tx. All the cos. are sold on the market .

I agree with you 💯 percent I did not vote for what Trump is doing as far as H1B. All I can say is that is an American last thing. I personally know people who were laid off this year and from what they are telling me is it's getting harder to find another job and the jobs that are there aren't paying what they're last jobs did.

In my 42 years as an aerospace engineer, from newbie to upper management, I've witness the transition from an all American enginnering workforce to the reliance on the H1-B. In the last 20 years the use of H1-B engineers has exploded. Why? Simply to save money. Entire engineering CAD/CATIA department drawing functions have gone to India. The quality of of the drawings dropped causing days of work spent requesting drawing changes. Rework kills budgets. There was also a lack of communication due to language barriers. The cost of an engineering drawing was supposed to decrease, but it did not materialize. In my opinion and experience, the juice was not worth the squeeze. I prefer to hire a qualified new engineer, then mentor them, provide educational opportunities, and promote them when they are ready. There are plenty of qualified American engineers out of jobs. Staff with US engineers and if, and only if, the workload exceeds capacity, then seek US companies that provide US engineering citizens to work the overflow. This is my take, my opinion, and my view based on my past experience.

You just said the company pays the same 100k in total, even when hiring the indian (sure 40k goes to recruiting firm). But the company pays the same, then you said the company is saving money. How does that work?
