What is your favorite Chamoru food? I'll go first... Latiya.
ОтветитьAs always, great shots! Guam is absolutely incredible can't wait to go there and explore. More awesome videos please. God bless you!
ОтветитьBeautiful!
ОтветитьGreat video, Luke! Joanna now wants to go to the point. Via the non-itchy path.
ОтветитьSuch an amazing, relaxing video of yet another beautiful part of Guam that probably most people don't get to experience (including myself, who's from there -- granted, I was a kid when my family left for the States). You guys are definitely experiencing the island to the utmost. Thanks for sharing the stunning footage of your adventures. By the way, I'm pretty sure Facpi is pronounced "fack-pee"...lol.
ОтветитьI think that was Noni fruit
ОтветитьNever been. Thanks for this journey. Your jungle tours are next level and very entertaining to watch through a statesiders lens. Guam has lost so much but gained too in the process. The story continues. My family has been a part of all of it. The fruit from the tree is called ‘ates’ pronounced ahh-tess. If you ever find yourself shopping the Underground Dungeon be sure to say hello…
ОтветитьHaha... nice 👍🏽
ОтветитьJust so you know that area is called Sagua pronounced Såhgwa and sometimes Såhgwuh. Anyhow Facpi point is only the rock at the bottom.
ОтветитьAlso much of the land is owned by the Torres family (familian Bakulo’ or Bakulu) which sold part to seventh day adventist.
ОтветитьThe fruit is part of the noni tree and it has medicinal value. In chamorro they call the juice latda.
ОтветитьAwesome video! Thanks for sharing this with us
Ответитьi cannot stress enough how much i appreciate your content! as a native chamorro who was raised in california and never got to experience the island myself yet, it’s so refreshing to be able to see someone explore the places my grandpa always tells me stories about, thank you for being so respectful of our culture and the island, we value it ☺️
ОтветитьDisturbing views of destruction by off-roading.
ОтветитьAnother epic video. Thanks for sharing
ОтветитьIf I am correct that is noni fruit. just you tube it. check out emmymade, she shares a lot of information
ОтветитьThank you for all your footage. It helps me see places I never got to see when I lived there most of my life
ОтветитьTakie be’ha is the fruit of the tree, it means old lady’s shit. No joke! 😂
ОтветитьIf you haven’t ate there yet I would suggest you check out caprisiossa order the squid ink spaghetti ..one of my favorite pasta there
ОтветитьWonderful. Missing Guam. 'Will return one day.
ОтветитьThat fruit that looks like troll eggs is call Lada in Chamoru, but it's more widely known as Noni which is Hawai'ian. It's used as a powerful medicine in pacific cultures.
ОтветитьThose eels are very good eats!!! cook with coconut milk!
ОтветитьLove the drone shots. Do you have to have a license to fly it in Guam?
ОтветитьThanks so much for this awesome video, thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьFakpi is the White-tailed tropic bird.. Nice video
ОтветитьI grew up on island; all my formative years. Your videos are beautiful and heartfelt. The music you chose was great, thank you.

ОтветитьThat fruit is called Noni.
ОтветитьThe fruit looks like NONI!! Read on its healing powers. It has a strong pungent smell but very healthy. Be safe!

ОтветитьGreat video! 😊👍🏼I happened upon your channel by accident. I must say,I truly miss home. 🥺I haven’t been home over 27 years and watching your channel has made me want to see home again. Also, the fruit you are curious about isn’t a “ates” it’s called a noni fruit. I truly appreciate you sharing my homeland to the world. 🌎I am glad you and your wife is enjoying your stay on Guam 🇬🇺 some do not appreciate it,but,to each their own I suppose.🤷🏻♀️ I have seen a few of your videos and it is a delight to see all the locations I’ve been at.
