Thank you so much, now will you please turn it over and show us how to do The other side with like a Roman profile? It's rounded if you do that on the other side and I can't square those up nice.. please help me
ОтветитьGood tip, thank you!
ОтветитьMeh....I guess. I mean, if you're going to start the lines with the chisel and corner chisel, hell, I'd just chisel it on out with those tools. Seems a bit dramatic with the forsner, but I "do" see the concept. We can send people to space, but they can't just make a bit that can give us square corners??? Goodness lol
ОтветитьHi Bodie,
Thank you for your video!
I have a tough router question for you and I am wondering if you can point me in the right direction?
I am trying to create a repeatable jig that can route the edge of 1/8 thick material that is 4”x24”.
I am using a bullnose bit on the outside perimeter, and adding 1/2” radius’ to the four corners.
How would you build that jig? Can you offer any recommendations?
Fyi - a cnc machine is too expensive
Thank you for your help!
Kind regards,
Adam
I think there is a rule to cut 1/2 of material, then 1/2 again, until the last shaving. Less splintering.
Ответитьis this the general way to make 90 degree routed corners? All router bits only cut round corners i assume? I want to route a butcher block countertop to flush mount a steel plate with sharp 90 degree corners for a reloading press. I guess some chiseling is required.
ОтветитьThank you Sir... got 8 corners to do today😑
