I get an old mattress against my fence it holds up nicely but they bounce back I still think its worth it.
Edit: finally got a actual golf net.

I set up a net at home and went out when it was pitch black outside and hit a driver in the heel, it bounced off the side pole and bounced on a house from what i’ve heard nothing broke but I ran inside as fast as I could and i’m taking a break now hahahah
