ОтветитьSo I have a question…. When Quran is recited we should sit in reverence for the word of God. So why do people play Quran recitations on the TV as if it’s background noise… going about their day?
ОтветитьThe Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“The most beloved words to Allah are four: SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah), Alhamdulillah (All praise is due to Allah), La ilaha illallah (There is no god but Allah), and Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest). It does not matter with which one you begin.”
(Sahih Muslim, Hadith 2137)
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "(The following are) two words (sentences or utterances) that are very easy for the tongue to say, and very heavy in the balance (of reward), and most beloved to the Gracious Almighty (And they are): Subhan Allahi wa bi-hamdihi; Subhan Allahi-l-'Adhim,"
Sahih al-Bukhari 6682
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“SubhanAllah and Alhamdulillah fill up what is between the heavens and the earth.”
(Sahih Muslim, Hadith 223)
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“The uttering of the words: ‘SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah), Alhamdulillah (All praise is due to Allah), La ilaha illallah (There is no god but Allah), and Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest)’ is dearer to me than anything over which the sun rises.”
(Sahih Muslim, Hadith 2695)
Sahih al-Bukhari 6405
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever says, 'Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi,' one hundred times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as the foam of the sea.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺsaid:
"What you mention of glory of Allah, of Tabsih (Subhan-Allah), Tahlil (Allahu-Akbar) and Tahmid (Al-Hamdu lillah), revolves around the Throne, buzzing like bees, reminding of the one who said it. Wouldn't any one of you like to have, or continue to have, something that reminds of him(in the presence of Allah)?" (Sunan Ibn Majah)
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“The best words of remembrance after the Qur’an are: SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illallah, and Allahu Akbar.”
(Sunan al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 3377; graded Hasan)
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“Whoever says SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi 100 times in the morning and evening will not be surpassed on the Day of Resurrection by anyone except one who said the same or more.”
(Sahih Muslim, Hadith 2692)
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“Indeed, Allah is pleased with His servant when he eats something and praises Him for it (by saying Alhamdulillah), or drinks something and praises Him for it.”
(Sahih Muslim, Hadith 2734)
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever says in the morning and in the evening: ‘Radeetu billahi Rabban, wa bil-Islami deenan, wa bi-Muhammadin ﷺ Nabiyyan’ three times, it becomes incumbent upon Allah to please him on the Day of Judgment.”
(Sunan Abu Dawood 5072; Jami’ at-Tirmidhi 3389 - Hasan)Ibn Majah 3870
While we said prayer with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), one among the people said Allahu Akbaru kabeera, wal-hamdu Lillahi katheera, wa Subhan-Allahi bukratan wa-as asila
(Allah is Great, the Greatest, and praise belongs to Allah in abundance, and glorified be Allah at the beginning and end of the day),
So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) asked (after prayer): "Who said such and such?!!" The man replied: "I did O Messenger of Allāh." So the Messenger of Allah )ﷺ( said: “I was amazed by it, for it opened the gates of heaven."
Ibn Umar )رضي الله عنه( said: "I have not abandoned them (i.e these words) since I heard the Messenger of Allah (s) saying that."
[Sahih Muslim 601]
Whoever says, ‘La ilaha illallah’ (There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah) and then follows it up with ‘Astaghfirullah’ (I seek Allah’s forgiveness), Allah will forgive them.”
(Musnad Ahmad, Hadith 21184)
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“The best form of dhikr (remembrance) is ‘La ilaha illallah (There is no god worthy of worship but Allah),’ and the best supplication is ‘Alhamdulillah (All praise is due to Allah).’”
(Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith 3800; graded Hasan)
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“The best words of remembrance after the Qur’an are: SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illallah, and Allahu Akbar.”
(Sunan al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 3377; graded Hasan)
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“SubhanAllah and Alhamdulillah fill up what is between the heavens and the earth.”
(Sahih Muslim, Hadith 223)
Abdullah bin Amr narrated that :
the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “there is not anyone upon the earth who says: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest, and there is no might nor power except by Allah, (Lā ilāha illallāh, wa Allāhu akbar, wa La hawla wala quwwata illa billah ) except that his sins shall be pardoned, even if they were like the foam of the sea.”
(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 3460)
Sayyidul Istighfar
The Prophet (ﷺ) said "The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is: (the dua below)
If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise."
'Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Khalaqtani wa ana `Abduka, wa ana `ala `ahdika wa wa`dika mastata`tu, A`udhu bika min Sharri ma sana`tu, abu'u Laka bini`matika `alaiya, wa abu'u laka bidhanbi faghfir lee fa innahu la yaghfiru adhdhunuba illa anta."
O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshiped but You. You created me, and I am Your slave, and I am faithful to my covenant and my promise as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have committed. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to You all my sins. So, I ask that you forgive me, for indeed nobody can forgive sins except You.
Sahihh Bukhari 6306
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,
"Whoever sits in a gathering and indulges in useless talk and before getting up supplicates:
سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ
'Subhanaka Allahumma wa bihamdika, ash-hadu al la ilaha illa Anta, astaghfiruka wa atubu ilaika
(Glory be to Thee. O Allah, and I begin with praise of Thee, I testify that there is no god but Thou; I ask Thy pardon, and return to Thee in repentance.)
he will be forgiven for (the sins he may have intentionally or unintentionally committed) in that assembly."[At-Tirmidhi] - Sunan Abi Dawud 4859

ОтветитьSuhaib reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: Strange are the ways of a believer for there is good in every affair of his and this is not the case with anyone else except in the case of a believer for if he has an occasion to feel delight, he thanks (God), thus there is a good for him in it, and if he gets into trouble and shows resignation (and endures it patiently), there is a good for him in it. [Sahih Muslim 2999]
ОтветитьThe Prophet (ﷺ) said: A believer who recites the Qur'an is like a citron whose fragrance is sweet and whose taste is sweet, a believer who does not recite the Qur'an is like a date which has no fragrance but has sweet taste, a profligate who recites the Qur'an is like basil whose fragrance is sweet but whose taste is bitter, and the profligate who does not recite the Qur'an is like the colocynth which has a bitter taste and has not fragrance. A good companion is like a man who has musk; if nothing of it goes to you, its fragrance will (certainly) go to you; and a bad companion is like a man who has bellows; if its (black) root does not go to you, its smoke will (certainly) go to you. [Sunan Abi Dawud 4829]
