I love Brussels sprouts!

Yuck! I hate Brussels sprouts!

Steam brussel sprouts. Add butter a little milk and a sprinkling of nutmeg . yum

Best way to cook sprouts:
~Slice them really thinly
~Drizzle some oil over them
~Chuck then in the bin and open a bottle of wine

It's always funny bits but never the whole thing!

They aren’t my favorite vegetable, but roasted with a drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper is pretty tasty

Cut sprouts in half. Toss with some bacon grease (& some chopped bacon), and a very small splash of soy sauce. Stick in a baking ban and bake until slightly browned and crispy.

I hate Brussels Sprouts and have always hated them, I am not crazy about boiled cabbage either. Probably the only vegetables that I don't like.

This was one of the first Vicar of Dibley episodes I ever saw. I think I laughed for a month afterwards. Freaking hilarious!!! Dawn French is superb!!

The odor is like animal water and, at its best, it's but a delivery mechanism for butter.

Of all the Christmas dinner they made for this episode and apparently the only thing Dawn French got to eat were the sprouts.

Brava, Dawn. Comedy genius. Lucille Ball couldn't have handled that better!

I wonder how many sprouts both of them consumed during the filming? They must have been sick to death of them....

Watching Gladiators the whistle bit always reminds me of this.

"Just wait one cotton picking minute here! I think perhaps I could manage a couple more after all!"

I love that line, and how it's delivered. It's like she both really wants to help Hugo get one over on his father, but at the same time really doesn't want to because she knows that she's got another Christmas dinner to get through! Just hilarious.

Also, another great David moment. It shows a more sillier side to him that we don't usually see, plus it's nice that after this contest, he actually seems quite nice to her when he announces "bring out the winner's reward!" Almost like he was expecting her to beat him.

Without a doubt, my favourite vicar of dibley moment ever!
