I will impact Tesla in the short term but in the long term it will benefit the company since Rivian , Lucid and others need that Taxes credit More than Tesla.

I think in the bigger scheme of things the results will speak for themselves with FSD licencing forcing the competition to align with tesla.

Likely it will take a bit of time for the tax credit to be cancelled and many sales would pull forward as customers would see it coming. So i don't expect the impact to be that much to affect 20-30% growth in 2025.

Still have no clue how Tesla even making money. Im in the Automotive and Aviation sector. I dont think ev's will be selling later. Only tech people buying. Blue collar do not want ev's. They have a shelf life and nobody gonna spend 22k on a battery.

I disagree. You can argue it’s slightly bullish as revenue through Regulatory credits increases which is pure profit and increases overall profit margin substantially which increases stock price.

trump IS going to kill the EV credits, trump will NOT do anything about other subsidies like the ridiculous oil subsidies BECAUSE he took a mountain of money from the oil and gas industry. trump supporters are about to learn a big lesson that when you are gullible and stupid you should not vote.

Drama. Couldn't care less about the tax credits. I only care about the progress of the underlying business. By the time they are removed it either won't matter anymore, or it'll simply be another short term buying opportunity.

Expecting EV sector Dip-buying. Consumer Tax credit for personal vehicles .Large EV trucks and Semis also have some states implementing their own tax credits. I am a btc . holder who is very confident, the more it dips is the more opportunity to add to my holdings. Increased Cybertruck production will help, also revamped Model Y. I don't have a lot of faith robotaxi or Model 2 will hit production in 2025. I think lower interest will have a bigger impact than the $7500 rebate. Lower interest rate means lower monthly cost - that's what people feel in their pockets every month and not so much the total price

Can we really say ICE is competition to Tesla? Tesla makes money on ZEV credits, so it would be better for Tesla if legacy auto do not sell EVs at all as Tesla. Tesla makes money by legacy selling ICE cars, Tesla would lose money if legacy auto sold more EVs.

Just put huge tariffs on China EVs and don't let them enter the US market. Saying is unfair that healthcare subsidies stay but EV subsidies go away is silly. Subsidies for unrelated industries don't matter. EVs will not be the only ones repealed, it is just the only one people talk about it because Trump talks about it.

The macro will have a much bigger effect on demand then the $7500. Lower interest rates and fear of recession go away and people will buy more cars. As we go into 2025 Tesla will have energy growing, robotaxi starting up and Optimus production starting up and auto sales start to become less important for Tesla.

Tesla's plan is not to sell cars for us to own. They want us to pay for robotaxi rides, so affordavility of EVs is not a concern for Tesla anymore. Just affordabilty and maintenenability of robotaxi cars and well working FSD.

I sold all my Tesla at $345. I'll buy it back once it goes down by 30%.

Don't worry, the tax credit is embedded in the IRA, it will only expire in 2032. Trump will not cut the IRA in total and musk knows it. If Trump cuts the tax credit legacy Auto will never be able to produce an EV.

I bought a tesla in 2024 and I 100% wouldnt have withtout the 12k credit I have here in my country. It will go away (cut by half then comlpety done by next year) at end of year in my country. I am from Canada
