Neo impressed me lot at this price range best drone

I have Avata 2, but plan to use this for full acro/manual mode learning. Better to crash this than the Avata 2!

I wish dji would set the neo up so it will work with the goggles 2 and the controller 2. Can’t see spending money on new goggles and controller for the neo.

Hello, Pls. can you use the DJI Motion 3 RC without googles?

The sound (actually the pitch) is horrific. You barely mentioned the sound issue.

I only have a mini 4 pro and avata 2.I will say this is one of the most versatile DJI drones in terms of accessory compatibility as well as multi charging battery hub.

But I will wait until the eventual NEO 2/pro. Hopefully with obstacle avoidance, sd card support, longer flight time, lower pitch noise etc etc..

Looks woefully underpowered.

Nice video, I did notice how noisy this drone is. I can see this being very annoying if you’re flying in the near vicinity of the public.

Well cannot wait for the many crazy owners and reviewers to do the range test, already had one comment saying the Neo can go 5 miles while the new X1 pro cannot! Well with what looks like 7-8 min battery time that 5 miles will be a one way trip and a lost drone!

Thanks for the great video. One thing to mention, if you buy the "Fly more combo", you get an RC-N3 controller, but aparently that doesn't let you go into manual mode. So, I just bough the Neo by itself, plus the "FPV Remote Controller 3" (and also the Goggles 3). Your discount code also saved me some $'s. Thanks again!

3.5 m altitude is not enough for Neo’s motors to do a roll, maybe changing some settings would help but I doubt. Even the Avata 2 has its weakness in some scenarios but I’m still happy they allowed full manual control

Love your video. Quick question, is there an fpv simulator I can download on my phone? I wanna be able to practice more. Was wondering if I could use the RC N3 I have and connect it to my phone as a display for the Simulator. Curious if that's possible. Appreciate any replies, thanks!

for some reason the Neo can only fly with 28km/h using the Motion Controller 3, compared to the 58km/h of the Avata 2 also I just can't find a way to disable EIS while recording, so I could use Gyroflow afterwards... I see no option for EIS OFF in the Goggles

Not gonna lie you need to spend more time in the flight simulator. And the pilot instruction course was the cherry on top.

I was just wondering if you have any options for getting the dji fpv 3 to work with a simulator on ps5. I cannot get it to work with drl

You can fix the pitch and roll in settings so you can roll it faster or pitch it way faster. I have my avata 2 set to 810 instead of the default 450 which is honestly super super slow. Personally at 810 I can do rolls and pitch really low to the ground and not crash (10-15m to the ground). I wouldn’t suggest increasing the yaw tho lol.

I’ve just flown my Neo in manual for first time today. Highly impressed so far. Best way to practice manual is with the NEO in my opinion, instead of risking smashing an Avata 🔥

The only problem is that a beginner isn't going to buy the goggles 3 with the rc motion 3 just to use with a neo

What are the rates you used in simulator and IRL

Great little drone with one fatal flaw. Don’t fly in Low light. conditions with the motion controller. Warming ! if outdoors you may lose your drone. Hopefully DJI will address this problem in the next film where update.
